Ty Together Device Will Make Sure You Dont Lose Your Gadgets, or Kids

It’s only November 22, yet the CES 2011 Innovations Awards have already been handed out to a number of folks that will be exhibiting next year in Vegas. Ty happens to be one such recipient of the CES 2011 Innovations Award. So what is it, exactly? Well so far the details are still all over the place but from the few scraps we gathered, it seems like it will remind you where items are and prevent them from getting lost. It will also have an app that will work with your smartphone, and will basically serve as the brains of the device.

The Ty can go on a keyring, on a safety pin, in your wallet, on a money clip, or even on a necklace. You’ll be able to keep track of your items as well as loved ones. Could this be a more stylish and innovative version of a GPS tracker? I guess we shall soon find out — in the meantime, you can follow them on Facebook to get the latest updates.

  1. I saw Ty on NBC’s Today Show coverage of CES and since I was at CES, I stopped by to check it out. Very cool little device. I leave my apartment pretty much everyday without my keys so I cannot wait until Ty’s on the market…that and keeping my kids from wandering too far from me in the supermarket!!
