Shake Things Up At Breakfast With This Cacio E Pepe Oatmeal Recipe From Chrissy Teigen

On her website Cravings by Chrissy Teigen, she laid out everything you need to make this unique breakfast dish that serves between 1 to 3 people and takes just 10 minutes to whip up.

Here are all the ingredients:

1 cup old-fashioned (rolled) oats,1 cup of water, 1 cup of milk, ¾ teaspoon kosher salt, ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 cup finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.

Make sure you have extra Parmigiano to garnish your final product and more pepper to add in if you like.

First, put the water and milk together in a medium-sized saucepan and bring it up to a boil on medium heat.

Next, add the oats to the water and milk and turn the heat down to medium-low and let them simmer for around 7 to 8 minutes.

Finally, add in the salt, mozzarella, Parmigiano, and pepper. Mix it in and take it off the heat after 1 minute. All the cheese should be melted together at this point.

You can also add more Parmigiano and pepper to fit your tastes. What do you think, interesting, right? I’m trying this for breakfast tomorrow.
