This TikToker Went Viral After Sharing The Creepy Text Messages He Received Following A Tinder Date Gone Terribly Wrong
The TikToker @Trustmeimaexpert went viral last week after sharing the most insane post-Tinder date text messages.
“I took a guy out on a date a few weeks ago after we matched on Tinder,” the TikToker said in his first video, “And the very first thing he said to me when I got out of the car was ‘Oh wow, you remind me a lot of my uncle. That’s both attractive and very exciting for me.'”
As if that was not a large enough red flag, to begin with.
Weeks after the date, he began receiving text messages from an unknown number. The first text said they were looking to speak with him, to which he politely asked who was messaging him.
From there, the conversation took an unexpected turn- it was his Tinder date’s mother.
“You took my son on a date a couple of weeks ago and told him that you two were not compatible. I must say I was quite devastated when my son returned him from the outing and was not engaged to the man that he loves,” she started.
“So, I am reaching out to you to request that you enter into a relationship with my son and immediately begin planning a wedding- of which will be paid fifty-fifty between the two families.”
The TikToker was understandably thrown for a loop and asked, “This is a joke, right? You can’t honestly be serious.”
The mother then responded dead seriously, “There is no joking when it comes to my son’s love. He has pictures of you already in his room and wants to marry you as soon as possible. We will be coming by your place of work tomorrow to discuss things in person and present you with a ring that we have purchased.”
From there, the texts only got worse. The TikToker responded by telling the mother not to visit his office since it is stalking and harassment.

He also tried to deescalate the situation by stating that he will not be marrying anyone soon since his fiancé recently passed away. Well, the mother did not care.
“He informed me that you had the loss of a fiancé and while that is regrettable, your focus now needs to be to ignore the past and focus on what you need to do to make my son happy,” she said, “We will be by to speak with you at your office at 1:30 pm tomorrow.”
This mother had some serious nerve to first, insert herself into a failed Tinder date and second, pass judgments about how someone else should grieve the loss of their fiancé.
The TikToker was rightfully appalled and took an early lunch to avoid a possible office visit.
This first video recounting the interaction gained nearly nine hundred and fifty-thousand views on TikTok and has been liked almost one hundred and thirty-thousand times. Unfortunately, not even a day later, the TikToker had to post a part two.

“Y’all, oh I got tea,” he started the second video in true TikTok fashion, “I really didn’t think I would have anything more for a part two and then I got this.” He then pulled up yet another, even longer message from a new number!
“I am messaging you off of another phone because I see you have blocked my main number,” the text read, “I have seen your TikTok video and I must say I am appalled that you think it is okay to treat your husband and mother-in-law in such a manner.”
The message goes on to say that the mother had “made notations” of every commenter on the previous video and would be pursuing legal action.
Then, she continued to push the crazy marriage narrative. “I will not have you being an embarrassment to my family and most importantly to your future husband,” she wrote.

“He is requesting as a wedding gift that you purchase him a new vehicle of his choosing. Anything cheaper than $35,000 will not be an appropriate gift for your husband.”
At this point, the TikToker had a feeling that someone was messing with him. Out of precaution, though, he forwarded the messages to a detective. As it turns out, this was not the mother-son duo’s first attempt at trapping a date into a marriage.
“The detective told me that he was very familiar with these people because of something that happened three or four months ago. Now, he couldn’t give me specific details, but basically, the mother had done the same thing to someone who rejected this guy’s sister,” he said.
“The detective even joked that in my case, at least he only asked for a car. His sister asked for an entire house on the lake.”
The mother and daughter both were charged with harassment and stalking in that case. They even ended up taking a probationary plea in order to get out of jail!
The TikToker knew that, after learning this new information, he would have to speak with the detective again about filing charges, going to court, and more.
One more day later, though, on October 21st, the TikToker posted his third and final update.
Apparently, the mother was called into a meeting with her parole officer in order to ascertain her involvement with the TikToker. After reviewing her phone records, the officer found no record of communication with him.
The parole officer then finally got into contact with her son, and he ultimately confessed to being behind all of the messages.
“He downloaded the TextNow app and was messaging me just to mess with me basically,” the TikToker concluded.
“Everyone that was concerned for my safety, thank you and I appreciate it. But there really is no threat- it’s just a crazy, pissed-off son whose mad that I rejected him.”
Thankfully, this TikToker was able to get to the bottom of these creepy text messages.
Still, the length that some people will go to just to mess with others is downright terrifying.
