She Went Through Her Boyfriend’s Phone When He Was Sleeping And Found Out That He Sent Some Steamy Texts To A Girl He Used To Hook Up With
A 27-year-old woman has a 34-year-old boyfriend that she’s been with for 6 months now. She thinks her boyfriend is incredibly sweet, caring, and kind.
“He seemed so perfect that I had to pinch myself,” she explained. “He treats people so well. Goes out of his way for others. Has treated me like an absolute princess.”
She initially met him through some mutual friends they share when he flew from California to Kentucky for several months to find a new place to live.
She hit it off instantly with her boyfriend, and since then, they’ve been extremely close. Her boyfriend asked her to be official with him before he left Kentucky at the start of August.
He had to fly back to California to pack up his life and finish up a 6-week long assignment for work.
While he was away, they texted a ton, and he bought her a bunch of little gifts he picked up for her while traveling for work.
When he finally arrived in Kentucky permanently, she helped him get all moved in to his new place.
“I stayed with him that night.. and found a removable eyelash in his bed,” she explained. “I told him the next morning and he thought it was funny and texted his roommates about it.”
“2 girls live there also, (he lived with a couple and a brother and sister) and they often used his room as a guest room or movie room as he travels for work and was rarely there…”

“They said it looked like one of theirs. And he didn’t really seem bothered by it. So I dropped it since he just doesn’t seem like the character to do that.”
Well, she still had some serious doubts, because while her boyfriend was sleeping that night, she decided to go through his phone.
“…Later that night and I found texts from a girl reaching out to him about the second week into his trip,” she said.
“It was a girl he would hook up with when he would do work assignments in FL. They reminisced about hooking up.”
“Talked about what they would do to each other. She asked when he would come and visit and he said “as soon as I can”. They talked about what they would do if they saw each other again.”
She also saw in her boyfriend’s phone that he had gone through old messages and saved intimate videos and photos of this girl he used to hook up with.

“I woke him up and confronted him about it immediately,” she continued. “He broke down. Became super remorseful.”
“Ended up telling me how much I meant to him and how I was a big factor of why he chose to move here.”
“Told me about past relationships and how they have affected him into feeling a sense of abandonment/unwanted and needing a “sense of validation” and that it was a stupid decision at the time. He was alone, it was late and she reached out to him and it was something familiar.”
Her boyfriend only sent intimate texts to this girl he hooked up with once before he moved to Kentucky to be with her, and that was about a month before he got to Kentucky.
Her boyfriend told her that she had a great heart and was a wonderful woman who is so different from other women he’s met.
He went on to say he wants to build a life with her and rebuild her trust, before blocking the girl he hooked up with.
He said sorry, and that he was ashamed of his behavior.
She feels so upset over this, especially because she was cheated on in a previous relationship. She does think her boyfriend was being genuine with his apology but she isn’t sure how to move past this.
