She Found A Last-Minute Date To A Black Tie Gala On A Dating App And The Whole Thing Sounds Like A Rom-Com

Dating on apps can be quite challenging. It’s tough to find people who actually match your energy in person.
But what if you finally meet the guy who exceeds your expectations and solely accepts your ability to have a three-hour conversation about grapes?
This is the story of TikToker @sammymads, who found a last-minute date to a private gala and possibly a long-term relationship!
On the Monday before the event, Sam realized she finally needed to purchase a dress for the gala she had known about for months.
She heads over to her “favorite” boutique, Amazon Prime, searching for the perfect dress.

She then accepts a date with a guy she met on Hinge, who asked to wine and dine her at a pub downtown.

While on this date, they realize they are both very similar, and the conversation pops up about the black-tie charity event gala happening that very weekend.
Not realizing this guy is about it be as alarmingly spontaneous as she is, he asked if he could be her date.
She graciously tells him that the last-minute tickets for the gala are $400 a person.
He looked at her and said, “Say the word, and I will rent a tux.”
Are we in a rom-com right now?
She accepts, and the next day, Nick from Hinge, heads off to get fitted for a $200 tux, and Sam is still deciding between 4 Amazon Prime $50 dresses.

She then proceeds to post an update on her account, showing them both dressed to the nines while enjoying a lovely night of finger foods, gin and tonics, all while dancing the night away.
Sam always spills the tea by saying, “he’s the perfect mixture of gentlemanly manners and flirtatious charm.”
Someone call Netflix! We need to make this storyline the next romantic comedy!
Since they had a blast at the gala, and with her birthday coming up, she decided to match his magnetic energy when it comes to what she should do for him for his birthday.
I mean, the man met her once and wanted to drop $600 on her, not including their dinner!
Sam then teases us on her TikTok as she leaves us guessing what she will be doing for Nick’s birthday. She notes that she wanted to match the energy he gave her for the ball, so she dropped a bit of money on his birthday surprise.
A few days later, she graced us with an update, and they were having an amazing time at an arcade, where she then blindfolded him for his final surprise, a Bruins hockey game!
