This 23-Year-Old Went Missing In 2017, And When Her Family Went To Her Apartment, They Chillingly Found That The Front Door Had Been Left Open And All The Lights Inside Were On
By the time Darian Michelle Hudson turned twenty-three years old in 2017, she had already suffered a lot of heartbreak.
The young woman endured a miscarriage, a breakup, and suffered the loss of her pet dog, Zigg.
Nonetheless, Darian did not plan to let these challenges interfere with her future. Instead, she set her sights on life’s silver linings– preparing to move from Stillwater, Oklahoma, back to her hometown of Wichita, Kansas, in order to save up enough money to apply to nursing school.
Darian’s parents were ecstatic to hear about their daughter’s new plans and were completely supportive.
And since she did not drive, they arranged to help her move out and drive her to Kansas in October of that year.
But, right before Darian’s family came into town, everything changed. On October 22, the twenty-three-year-old did not show up to her shift at Chili’s– a very uncharacteristic occurrence for the dedicated employee.
And by October 25, none of Darian’s friends had heard from her for days.
They finally reached out to Stephanie Hudson, her mom, who immediately drove to Stillwater with her family and filed a missing person’s report the next day.

Then, the Hudson family went to check on Darian’s duplex apartment on West Fifth Street– and what they found was chilling.
Every light in the apartment was left on, there were dishes in the sink, and the front door was wide open. Moreover, Darian had left her cell phone behind.
The Stillwater Police Department immediately launched an investigation and quickly ruled out Darian’s closest friends as suspects.
Then, authorities began combing through public transportation records since she did not own a car.
Nonetheless, this was a dead end, and the first break in the case did not come until two months later, in December of 2017.
That month, a man attempted to use Darian’s debit card at an Oklahoma City hotel.
Still, the man claimed he had found the debit card all the way back in October– when he discovered a purse hanging off a concrete sewage pipe at a construction site near Country Club Road and McElroy Road.
Then, numerous construction workers came forward regarding a possible Darian sighting on October 26.
They alleged that a woman fitting her description had been spotted sitting in a wooded area not far south of the construction site.
According to the workers, she had looked like she was waiting for a ride and was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a dark-colored coat.
So after learning about the wooded area, authorities launched an extensive two-day search of the region in December.
Unfortunately, though, officers only found some of Darian’s belongings– including her wallet with her credit cards and a hooded sweatshirt.
And since Christmas time in 2017, no other sightings or knowledge of Darian’s whereabouts have been reported.
Authorities have continued to monitor her social media and bank accounts– which have remained untouched– and are still asking community members to come forward with any information regarding her disappearance.

The Hudson family also created a Facebook page to share Darian’s story, raise awareness of her case, and keep the community updated on any developments.
Darian is a five-foot-three Black woman who weighed one hundred and twenty pounds. She had ear and nose piercings, as well as a large feather tattoo with five birds on the back of her right shoulder.
