“I’ve never worn it at work due to the nature of my job, so there have been no questions there. It feels like the embodiment of the betrayal. I cry when I have to put it on for any reason. I know it’s still a relatively fresh wound, I get that, but I feel like I should want to be wearing it again (at least sometimes) by now.”
“He’s offered to buy me a new one, but he spent a lot of money on this one, and it’s the one everyone has seen me wear and is in all of our photos. I suggested a silicone band or a cheap replacement for the time being, but he says it’s not the same thing, but he is open to it if it makes me more comfortable. I just don’t know what to do with it.”
