“Don’t get me wrong, I really like looking young, and it seems like I stopped aging,” she said. “I try putting on makeup now and then, but it just looks weird to me.”

“I don’t want to pretend that I’m someone I’m not, but it really is frustrating that people cannot trust me because they think I’m much younger than I am.”

“And it’s not like I’m acting like a 13-year-old or anything. I feel so discouraged that I don’t like leaving the house. I feel so lonely and fear that I’ll never get married one day.”

On one occasion, a guy said to her that he’s worried about dating her since it will come across to outsiders looking in like he’s dating a girl he has no business being with. That really hurt her so much that she still thinks about it to this day.
