She Went On A Work Trip With Her Husband And Thought His Female Coworker Was Flirting, So She Told The Woman That She Wouldn’t “Share” Her Husband

This 47-year-old woman has been married to her husband, 49, for three years.
Not long ago, she went with him on a month-long work trip he had to take across the country.
Each day, when her husband got done working, they took a lot of time to go sightseeing, and it was a blast.
Two days before she and her husband left, one of his coworkers, 38, got there.
Her husband’s coworker called him because she needed some details about what they would be doing for work the following day, as well as the location of the work site they had to commute to.
This part of the discussion lasted for about five minutes, but after that, his coworker started getting off-topic.
While her husband was on the phone, she was just hanging out in the hotel room, and his phone conversation lasted about 45 to 50 minutes in total. She thought her husband had been on the phone for too long with his female coworker, who had gotten divorced a little while ago.
“She shared what hotel she was staying at (the same as ours), what side of the hotel she was on, where she was parked, what she was driving, where she likes to eat, the food she loves, things she likes to do in her spare time…I finally gave him a look like, ‘Enough of that!'” she said.
When her husband got off the phone with his coworker, she started asking him why he was having non-work-related conversations with coworkers because she didn’t think it was appropriate.

He was angry and asked her if she was “insecure.”
After thinking about it, she came to the decision that she wasn’t reacting this way out of insecurity but because she felt like her husband’s coworker was flirting with him.
The following day, her husband’s coworker gave him a ride to their work site.
She was furious about this, but she felt like she was able to remain as calm as possible.
After they were done working, they came back to the hotel, and she met them at the front of the hotel because she and her husband had dinner plans.
The three of them were talking for a little while, and they were conversing about good restaurants nearby.
At one point, her husband left because he had to go grab a file that his coworker needed for the next day.
Since she and her husband were leaving the next day, she told his coworker that they had a ton of snacks and paper products left over if she wanted to take any of them.
His coworker was appreciative and agreed to take anything they didn’t need.
“I looked her dead in the eyes and told, ‘We’ve got so much stuff left over. Cheese, crackers, and unopened food. There’s quite a bit that should hold you over for at least a week. I’ll share just about anything with you, but I won’t share my husband.’ She looked like she had been caught with her hand in the cookie jar,” she explained.
The woman was clearly shocked and didn’t say anything, and she didn’t break eye contact with her.
After her husband came back with the file, his coworker took it and quickly left.
Later that night, she and her husband were packing up their hotel room. While doing so, she told her husband that he should call his coworker’s room to see if she still wanted any of the snacks that they hadn’t opened or any of the paper products they had left.
When he called his coworker and asked her this, she kindly told him that she didn’t need any of it.
“I’m also a divorced woman. I know the perception people may have. It’s also exactly why I would NEVER talk to a married man for anything other than professional exchange of information, and certainly wouldn’t have allowed the conversation to progress past the point of a professional nature,” she shared.
She added that she definitely would never talk to a married man for almost an hour about topics that had nothing to do with work.
Once her husband found out what she had told his coworker, he said that she had crossed the line.
But she responded by explaining to him that she stopped a sketchy situation from getting any worse.
Do you think she was wrong for what she said to her husband’s coworker?
