His Girlfriend Confessed That He Wasn’t Actually The Father Of Her Baby, So He Left And Has Been Trying To Move On Ever Since
This man and his girlfriend recently welcomed their daughter into the world, and on the day she was born, he was understandably overcome with a rollercoaster of emotions.
At first, he couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with excitement and love while holding his baby for the very first time. But then, he had a bad feeling in his gut and realized that something wasn’t adding up.
“Her skin tone was different from mine, and it gnawed at me like a persistent itch,” he said.
He tried to ignore the doubts he had about being his daughter’s father, too. However, as time passed, he simply couldn’t get over the “nagging feeling” that he felt inside.
So, he eventually decided to confront his girlfriend, and she broke down on the spot– confessing that he wasn’t actually the father of her baby.
“It felt like the ground had been pulled out from under me,” he recalled.
That’s why he didn’t even say a word to his girlfriend. Instead, he just packed up his bags and left their house because he felt beyond betrayed.
He also wouldn’t listen to his girlfriend’s explanations or apologies since, in his mind, the damage had already been done.
“As I walked away, I felt a mix of anger, hurt, and disbelief swirling inside me,” he detailed.

Ever since leaving his girlfriend, he has attempted to distract himself by staying busy with things like late-night study sessions and parties with his friends.
Yet, no matter how hard he tries to numb the pain, he still can’t move past the feelings of emptiness and loss– which feel like a dark cloud hanging over him.
He did admit how, from time to time, he catches himself thinking about what life could have been like with his girlfriend and their child.
“But then I remember the deceit, the shattered trust, and I know that I can never go back,” he vented.
So, he’s trying to just continue moving forward. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean he’s not still wondering if leaving his girlfriend after finding out her baby wasn’t his was really the right thing to do.
