Paris Fashion Week has come and gone, and now, many fashionistas around the world have new outfits and couture inspiration to work from.

Typically, when we look at pictures of celebrities and models enjoying their time at fashion week, we feel as though we could never look as fabulous as they do.

Most average people don’t have the stylists or money to fund the fabulous looks people show off during fashion week. However, there are easy ways to emulate and channel the style you see during one of the most iconic fashion events of the year. Here’s how to do it.

Fur accessories

This year, there was a lot of fur or faux fur outerwear, like coats, jackets, and bags, worn by models and celebrities on and off the runway. Faux fur accessories are big in fashion right now, especially with the ‘mob wife aesthetic’ being so popular.

For tips on styling a faux fur jacket or coat, read our article on them here!

Cinched jackets and blazers

A lot of models on the runway were rocking blazers and jackets with cinched-in waists. I mean, who doesn’t like a good cinched waist? These looks were especially unique, as something as structured and business-like as a blazer isn’t often associated with making you look ‘snatched.’ But in this instance, it was.

If you want to feel like you attended Paris Fashion Week in the flesh, search for some cinched jackets and blazers.

Sporty chic looks

It’s no secret that many models and celebrities can get away with looking fashionable even when wearing sweats and hoodies.

This became especially evident at this year’s Paris Fashion Week, where a handful of designers elevated streetwear, pairing sweatsuits with pumps and lounge pants with fancy sweaters and shoes. Don’t be afraid to mix a sweatshirt with heels. Go against the norm!

Animal and floral prints

With the ‘clean girl aesthetic’ and more minimalist fashion and beauty being so popular over the years, people have started abandoning some of their great clothes with animal and floral prints.

However, they were abundant during this year’s fashion week. Strut your stuff in some great leopard accessories, and don’t believe anyone who tells you it’s “basic” to wear florals in the spring. Enjoy the color and fun!

Neckties

Neckties have been worn by women who have been passionate about breaking fashion norms for years, and during fashion week, they certainly had their moment.

If you’re interested in channeling more masculine energy and reclaiming the necktie, throw one on the next time you wear a button-up shirt or blazer.

Bold and fun accessories

You may think that participants usually wear more minimalist, low-key jewelry during fashion week because so much focus goes into clothes. However, that isn’t necessarily the case.

This year, bold and fun accessories took the spotlight in the form of cute bows in hair, uniquely shaped bags, colorful earrings, and big boots. Don’t forget to embrace your freedom when it comes to accessorizing and get creative.

Now, you’re equipped with a few ways you can channel this year’s Paris Fashion Week icons in your daily style.
