Coming to accept that someone enjoys an activity that's unusual or strange can be a lot easier when you don't know them personally or aren't married to them.

After being faced with a secret her husband's been keeping, she is so upset that she's weighing a divorce.

Usually, this woman says she keeps an open mind when it comes to what other people enjoy wearing or who they choose to love. She thinks people should be able to live their lives on their own terms and in a genuine way, so she's pretty accepting.

But her husband just sprung something on her that she's not able to tolerate, and he expressed how let down he felt over how she's so accepting of everyone except him.

She's been with her husband for more than 15 years, and she was taking out the garbage in their bathroom one day when she came across a piece of fabric rolled into a ball.

Thinking it was a headband, she grabbed it, but then realized it was another woman's size small, grey underwear. Her stomach was in knots as she thought about how her husband had to have slept with this mystery woman and kept her underwear as a souvenir.

She raced downstairs to call her husband out for cheating, and what he said might have been more upsetting to her than uncovering another woman.

Her husband revealed that he wasn't sure that he wanted to share his secret with her...but he loves wearing women's underwear.

"He said it started once when he was younger, and he and his GF and friend at the time decided to dress him up for Halloween, and she gave him her underwear and a bra to wear, and he said it felt good," she explained.

"Then he said he didn’t do it again until we lived together in our early days of dating, and he decided to put on one of my pairs of cute undies and surprise me to see what I think. I immediately said, 'No, I don’t like this.'"

"He said in that moment he was sad I didn’t care for it and was hoping I would think it was cute, but at the time, I just simply did not like it and the feeling it gave me. Flash forward to today, we have been married for several years, have two little ones together, and he decided to experiment with it again."

Her husband went on to share that wearing women's underwear makes him happy and that's all he wants now: to be happy.

Her husband is jealous that women can be attractive, and he's spent the last month purchasing different types of women's underwear to test out for himself.

Her husband was disheartened by her reaction to the whole underwear thing, and her brain is currently in overdrive, thinking of the worst-case scenarios.

"My fears are, 'What if he is trans. I am accepting and love my trans friends, but I didn’t marry a trans man. Does this mean he is gay?' And I am getting upset with myself for thinking this because I am normally so accepting and welcoming to all my friends and strangers for living their lives true to themself," she added.

Her husband reassured her that he's not looking to transition, and he is not trying to be a woman by putting on underwear designed for them.

He is still into her and thinks she's making the underwear into a bigger deal than it has to be. She's just unable to understand the meaning of this.

She's traumatized, and she tried to say they could shop for underwear together, but that just made her burst into tears because she's not interested in that.

"I even thought what if we need to get a divorce. Which he was very shocked by because he said NOTHING has changed between how much he loves me and our relationship, etc., he just wants to wear women’s underwear sometimes," she continued.

"It’s his body. He should be happy and confident with his choice, but why am I struggling to be okay with it?"

Well, her husband's underwear is literally the only difference in her marriage at the moment, and I don't think it's something to get her panties in a bunch over.

She doesn't need to love this new side of him; she just has to be supportive. And if she can't be, then yes, a divorce might be the best thing for her.
