Some people find out their mom had a wild side when they discover an old tattoo or a secret love letter. TikToker Chesney (@chesneyperkins) is talking about how her mom robbed two banks and got away with her crimes, yet she was still the sweetest person ever.
Chesney declared that her mother was an amazing person. She did not drink, smoke, or curse. She and her two older brothers grew up religious, and her parents never fought.
She claims her parents were the shining example of what real love is. Her mom was the type of person to give someone her last dollar if they needed it. She was dependable and always showed up for people.
For some context, Chesney’s mom did not go back to work until she was five years old. She started working at a bank and was the head teller there for 13 years.
After she left her job at the bank, she began working at a courthouse. Then, she became a booking deputy, working for the sheriff’s office.
In 2012, Chesney’s nephew was born, and her mom got custody of the child when he was six months old because both of his parents were in prison. She took him in and became a stay-at-home mom again.
She robbed the first bank in 2015. She wore a disguise and scoped out the scene the day before the robbery. The next day, she returned to the bank at 4 p.m., acting like she was getting a business loan.
As the bank was closing, she excused herself to the restroom.
As she was coming out of the restroom, she threatened a bank employee with a fake gun and demanded to be brought to the vault. She ended up getting $60,000.

Ten minutes after the robbery, she was pulled over by the police in her minivan. By then, she was already wearing different clothes. The police searched the van but couldn’t find anything. She had hidden the money in a compartment in the back of the van.
“To sum up, that year, she walked around and didn’t tell a soul,” said Chesney. “That must have been hard for her to hold that in and act like everything is completely normal.”
A year later, she robbed a second bank. In February 2016, Chesney decided to visit her best friend in Texas. She stayed with her friend for a week while she was pregnant.
She had her mom drive her to the airport and left her car at her house. She even took the car keys with her to Texas. Her mom picked her up a week later and dropped her back off at her apartment.
Chesney was too tired to get her car, so she gave her mom the keys and told her to drive over later. She went to sleep for a couple of hours, and in that time, her mom robbed a second bank, using her red sports car. She also got away with that robbery.
