Philips has new versions of their GoGear Ariaz and GoGear ViBE video players out. While they don’t seem to be sporting any new features quite worth writing home about, they are rocking a decent set of specs and a clean new aluminum chassis. For starters, the GoGear Ariaz features FullSound, and it comes with sound isolation headphones, along with a 2.4″ screen, Philips Songbird software, 45 hour music playback battery life for audio, 5 for video, an FM Radio with RDS and 20 presets, along with a pretty slick brushed aluminum chassis. The GoGear Ariaz is available in a 16GB capacity.
The smaller GoGear ViBE has also been updated. It also now sports Philips FullSound technology, comes with Philips Songbird software, FM Radio with RDS, and it has a new aluminum finish just like the Ariaz. albeit not a brushed aluminum one. Also, the ViBE has a smaller 1.5″ display and is available with a 8GB or 4GB capacity. Both players are available at Amazon and retail for $79.99 and $54.72 respectively.
