At least, it will if you can get those button combinations right. That part’s still as tricky as it was back in the glory days of the arcade. If you ever spent time in an arcade in the ’90s, chances are you got in on some Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 in your time. It’s one of the best offerings in the series (and probably the last good one before the series took a bit of a spill for the better part of the last decade). EA Mobile is now bringing Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 to the iPad, and all the uproariously excessive fatalities that come along with it. The game features 23 classic Mortal Kombat characters, and actually offers local multiplayer. Naturally, the Wi-Fi based multiplayer goes over a little smoother, but the local’s not too bad in a pinch. And, since it’s on the iPad, the HD graphics are a perfect match for the game. It’s available now on the iTunes App Store for $4.99.
