chumkee iPhone App of the Week: Chumkee Is a Social App Trying to Leap Over the Language Barrier

Chumkee is a new social app that encourages users to communicate with each other using video messages, instead of, say, the text posts common with sites like Facebook. It’s a cool way to reveal more of your personality, if you’re an Internet extrovert. If video isn’t your thing, picture messages are also possible on Chumkee’s network. The cool twist is the translation feature – the app provides real-time translations in over 30 languages, to help you connect to people with like interests the whole world over.

Chumkee is available now for free on the iTunes App Store.
