Putting an extra layer of ultra-luxury on the already pretty high-class speaker, the 805 Maserati is made from bird’s eye maple real wood veneer and black Maserati leather, to almost make the speaker look like it should be the stick shift in a Maserati. The speaker stand is made from the same wood veneer as the speaker, and has the Maserati trident logo on the base.
Otherwise, this is much the same as the 805 Diamond, which features high-end audio components, like the Diamond Dome Tweeter, which can be covered with a speaker mesh or left open to show off as an aesthetic piece in its own right.
Bowers & Wilkins expects the 805 Maserati to go on sale sometime during Q4 of this year, as a limited edition piece. Pricing has yet to be determined.
