Fancy Going on a Cruise to Bermuda with the New York Rangers?

slideshow1Hockey and tropical islands might not be the most obvious pairing, but if you’re lucky, that might be what you’ll be looking forward to come August of next year. The New York Rangers have a new corporate partnership with Celebrity Cruises, and one of the results is the Rangers Legends Cruise – a seven-night trip to Bermuda with a few Rangers greats.

On August 3 of next year, the good ship Celebrity Summit will depart from Cape Liberty Cruise Port in in Bayonne, New Jersey and set sail for Bermuda, with former Rangers Ron Duguay, Adam Graves, Ron Greschner, and Stephane Matteau onboard. Besides the obvious awesome parts of the cruise (Bermuda, a boat, former Rangers players), there will also be activities, island excursions, and meet and greets with the players themselves.

Celebrity Cruises also happens to be one of the first cruise lines to feature an iLounge. The iLounge is filled with Apple gear to keep you in touch with loved ones while traveling around the country. Heck, you’ll probably need it for when you want to prep yourself on the latest New York Rangers trivia.

So, how do you get your ticket? One way is to go to Rangers games – during five games this season, there will be a shooting contest where one fan each game could win a ticket to get on the cruise. On the Celebrity Cruises side of things, they’ll be holding a sweepstakes for a chance to play the same kind of shooting contest at the Rangers game on April 5 of next year. Hopefully by that time, the Rangers’ season won’t be on such thin ice.
