Which brings us to Porsche’s other top seller; the Macan. So maybe you don’t need a really large SUV like the Cayenne. The Macan is a perfect choice if you want an SUV that’s on the smaller side. It’s not only compact, it’s also more affordable than the Cayenne too. You can still put your kids, dogs, and Costco purchases comfortably in the back seat though.
You’re also going to be able to probably parallel park better than in a Cayenne. Don’t quote me on that though, because it’s been 27 years and I haven’t learned to parallel park. In terms of affordability, the Macan starts at $47,800 brand new. If you buy one a few years old, you’re looking at $40,000. Unfortunately, the Macan hasn’t been around as long as the Cayenne so you can’t really get them as cheap. This puts them around the price of a Lincoln MKZ, and slightly more expensive than a Land Rover Discovery Sport or a Mercedes-Benz GLA250.
