Kesha released her debut single “Tik Tok” when I was I was literally entering college (look out, I’m dating myself) and her songs quickly became my pre-going out anthems.
This girl really knows how to write some catchy music, and I’m so happy she’s back because 2017 was the last time Kesha released anything new.
Given that she has been embroiled in a legal battle with her producer, Dr. Luke, we can’t blame her for her absence.
This morning, Kesha just dropped her new single called “My Own Dance” and it’s everything we would hope it is coming from Kesha.
YouTube; pictured above is a still from Kesha’s new music video where she wanders around a super creepy motel
It’s catchy, you can listen to this at the gym or before a night out with your girls, and it’s going to get you so excited about her new album called High Road.
Her music video is pretty cool too; she wanders around a creepy motel on a quest for cereal.
In a press release from Kesha’s team, they say this song is about “reconciling the many facets of who you are, embracing your multitudes, and learning how to create your own unique dance through life.”
Check out Kesha’s new music video below, and let me know what you think in the comments!
