“His mom and family have been commenting under pictures of my kid calling my child their “grand baby” and family member. Which makes sense as to why every birthday and Christmas his mom has been sending my child gifts. I thought she was just being thoughtful. But she is under the assumption that she’s a Grandmother. I’ve never personally met her or any of his relatives. He’s also been posting fabricated statuses about us “coparenting”. There’s just so much more.”
She was shocked and horrified to find out that her best friend had been using photos of her and her child to make everyone believe that he was the father of her child and in a relationship with her too.
It honestly made her sick to realize all of this, and she reached out to a different friend of hers to fill her in on the situation. She ended up sending several screenshots of her best friend’s Facebook activity to this other friend, and her other friend was completely taken aback.
Her friend thinks her best friend is only using her and her child as a cover story, since his family is not aware that he’s really gay. She was in turn surprised to learn that her best friend never came out of the closet because she didn’t think he hid it from anyone.
“But then again, I’m not sure how his personality is around his family because I never met them,” she said.
“So anyways, yes I’m very disturbed. This entire time I thought I was protecting my child’s privacy from social media when this “friend” has posted every single photo I’ve sent to family and close friends for the past 2 years claiming to be their Dad.”
What do you think she should do? Confront her best friend?
