While She Was In Her Bathroom One Evening, She Noticed A Man In A Hood And A Mask Watching Her Through The Dark Window

Is there anyone else out there who, like myself, cannot stand when there are windows in bathrooms? Especially when those windows don’t have proper curtains or ways to hide from public view? I always feel like I’m going to be seen by someone when I’m in a bathroom that has a window.

That nightmare came true for a young woman who saw a man staring at her from her bathroom.

She has a boyfriend, and they live together in an apartment just outside of a city. It’s in a small building, with them being two of only four tenants.

The bathroom in the apartment has a window in the middle of it which faces a row of houses’ backyards.

During the day, they keep blinds attached to the window drawn but open them at night, as their cat loves looking outside.

She figured most people in the quiet neighborhood respected and honored each other’s privacy. That is, until a few nights ago.

She was having a movie night with her boyfriend when she slipped away to use the bathroom. Knowing she would be in and out of there quickly, she left the lights in the bathroom off.

As she stood up and was about to leave the bathroom, she saw something out of the corner of her eye.

“I’m in full view of the window, light still off, and I get closer to see a tall, dark, hooded figured standing just one yard away,” she explained.

“His face was covered with what looked to be a Covid mask, and his hood pulled tightly around his face so that I could barely make out his eyes.”

She leaned closer to the window to see if this guy was just innocently standing in his backyard or if he was purposefully looking at her.

About twenty seconds later, he slowly lifted his arm and started slowly waving at her in an awkward windshield wiper movement.

Terrified, she let out a squeal and ran to her boyfriend. She was so scared she could barely speak, but once her boyfriend knew that a man was watching her from outside, he ran out the door with their protective dog behind him.

At first, he didn’t see anything. But when he looked a second time, he saw the creepy man’s yard light casting his shadow up against his house.

He tried to calm her down, suggesting that the man was probably outside to have a cigarette, but locked all the doors and closed all the blinds to be safe.

If that were the case, why would someone smoking a cigarette outside need to wear a Covid-19 safety mask?

One hour went by, and she decided to look out the bathroom window once again to see if he was still there.

Sure enough, the shadow was still outside. At this point, they figured it must be a stranger, not the man who owned the house he was standing near. The man who lives there is elderly and frail.

“My boyfriend now agrees that this is somewhat unsettling, as no one would have any reason to be outside this late for that long in this neighborhood,” she said.

She decided to file a police report and will be on high alert in her area from now on.

What do you think the creepy man was really doing out there?
