She Screamed At Her Sister-In-Law To Stop Acting Like A Baby Because Her Sister-In-Law Got Upset That No One Ate What She Cooked
For Thanksgiving this year, this 34-year-old woman was asked by her family to cook dinner.
Included at the dinner were her three children, her oldest child’s boyfriend, her fiancé, 29, her future brother-in-law, 24, and his fiancée, 22.
She agreed to this request because she enjoys cooking. Plus, she’s a wonderful cook, thanks to her father teaching her from a young age.
Her father was previously a chef for a well-known cruise line.
Whenever she cooks for others, she feels so happy watching everyone thoroughly enjoying the amazing food.
With not much advance notice, she was told that six more people would be joining them for dinner. Also, she learned that her sister-in-law would be cooking some dishes.
“Now, I do not have a problem with people wanting to add their own signature dish or anything like that. The more, the merrier, right? Well, my sister-in-law is a terrible cook. I have tried to help her in the past by giving her small tips without hovering or overstepping, but she just doesn’t listen,” she said.
Since her sister-in-law never takes her cooking advice to heart, she has given up and now just allows her to do whatever she wants each time she attempts to make something.
After she and her sister-in-law were done cooking dinner, they got everything set up at the table. They organized all of the dishes, which included biscuits, gravies, meats, and sides.

Then, the family dug in and enjoyed the food.
Once everyone finished eating, she began to clean up in the kitchen, as well as some of the small messes at the dining room table.
She was about to walk back to the kitchen to throw away some garbage when her brother-in-law and sister-in-law walked into the dining room.
“She looks at the table and says, ‘No one ate anything I made.’ She grabs her fiancé, storms to the bedroom, and starts screaming at the top of her lungs at her fiancé that I somehow sabotaged her and her food so no one would eat it,” she explained.
This accusation from her sister-in-law didn’t make any sense because she wasn’t in the kitchen while she was making her dishes. Since she timed her own dishes to be done at the same time, she was already done in the kitchen by the time her sister-in-law was cooking.
She added that she would never tamper with food that others were going to be eating.
While her sister-in-law had been cooking in the kitchen, she had been in the yard playing with the children and hanging out with the rest of the family. She made sure to stay out of her sister-in-law’s way so that she had space and time to cook. The kitchen was pretty small, so there wouldn’t have been enough room for both of them to be simultaneously cooking, anyway.
“So, I waited for her to finish her little rant. Then, she came out and gave me dirty looks, then started saying stuff under her breath about me. This is where I went off. I screamed at her that I had done nothing but try to help her, and all she had done was ignore my suggestions. I also yelled at her that she was acting like an immature baby throwing a temper tantrum, and maybe nobody ate anything you made because it didn’t look appetizing,” she shared.
After she yelled at her sister-in-law, she marched away to cool down.
In her view, her sister-in-law’s anger was illogical because when they served dinner, she never specified who made each dish, so no one knew which dishes were made by her sister-in-law.
She was trying to be kind and allow everyone to try her sister-in-law’s food if they wanted.
Luckily, no one else was around when she screamed at her sister-in-law. Everyone else at the get-together was in the backyard around a bonfire.
Unfortunately, she’s used to her sister-in-law’s bad behavior. In the past, her sister-in-law poured a drink on her fiancé, screamed at and took things away from her child, who is autistic, and rolled her eyes in annoyance when her brother-in-law would play with or even just talk to her child.
