She Created A Fake Email And Anonymously Messaged Her Coworker’s Brother-In-Law To Expose Her For Cheating

For six years, this woman’s co-worker, L, has been having an affair with a biker. The man she’s cheating with also happens to be their co-worker’s ex (their coworker is named S). L despises S and is mainly cheating on her husband with this man as revenge for the issues she’s had with S over the years.
It’s been frustrating to hear L gloat about the affair for so long without experiencing any consequences for her actions.
“L’s husband is a manager at another location, but we all know him, and he’s a really sweet man,” she said.
During conversations throughout their time working together, she learned that L’s husband pays for her to attend nursing school. L has mentioned that she plans to stay with her husband until after graduation.
“No one else wants to say anything, so I decided to take matters into my own hands,” she explained.
One day, she created an anonymous Gmail account. Even though she had no idea what L’s husband’s email was, she thought that the next best thing was to guess his brother-in-law’s email and hope for the best.
His brother’s name is uncommon, and she assumed that he was a professional type of person, so she typed his brother’s first and last name with “@gmail” at the end and composed an email explaining that L had been cheating for several years.
The following day, she discovered that her plan worked because everyone at work was gossiping about L’s husband finding out that she’d been having an affair. Finally, L talked to her about the email, and she assumed S was the person who sent her brother-in-law the email.
“Well, L’s husband left her the night he found out and is now demanding a divorce,” she shared.

In the aftermath, L sobbed, panicking because she had no idea how she could afford to finish nursing school on her own since her husband had been paying for her schooling up until this point.
Upon reflection, she doesn’t feel guilty for sending the email and outing L for her cheating behavior. On the other hand, she wonders if it was her place to spill the beans.
Do you think she was wrong? What would you have done if you were in her shoes?
