She Wants To Break Up With Her Fiancé After She Caught Him Making Out With Her Twin Sister At Their Engagement Party, But Her Fiancé’s Claiming He Just Mixed Her And Her Twin Up Since They “Look So Much Alike”

This 24-year-old woman has a twin sister. A week ago, she and her fiancé, 25, threw an engagement party. While chatting with some of her friends, she realized her fiancé and sister were nowhere to be found.
At first, she assumed they were maybe just talking since they hadn’t seen each other in a while. However, when she walked into the bathroom, she discovered what her fiancé and sister were up to.
“I saw from the window that they were outside, kissing and giggling. My fiancé and my sister, locking lips right there in the middle of our engagement party,” she said.
She was understandably stunned and heartbroken. It was hard to believe this situation was real; she couldn’t think straight. She acknowledged that her fiancé and sister were both intoxicated, but she felt they should still be held accountable for their actions. While they kissed and flirted, they didn’t realize she could see them. It was as if she wasn’t even there.
As she stared at her fiancé and sister in disbelief, she had no idea what she should do. She was tempted to race over and talk to them, but she was also tempted to go back to the party and act like she hadn’t seen anything.
The latter option won over, and she felt “numb and betrayed.” She didn’t speak to her fiancé or her sister for the remainder of the party. Back at home afterward, she went to bed because she had no energy to confront her fiancé. Before eating breakfast together the following morning, she told her fiancé she’d seen him making out with her sister and asked him why and how it happened.
“He looked me dead in the eyes and told me that he was so drunk that he confused me with my sister because, apparently, we looked so much alike,” she explained.
In her view, his rationalization was weak, and she was enraged. The conversation escalated into an argument, and her fiancé eventually walked out and went back to his place. Ever since she confronted her fiancé, his friends bombarded her with texts, asking her to forgive him and move on.
According to them, her fiancé was devastated after their fight, but she didn’t think she could move forward with the engagement after her fiancé and sister made out. The day after the argument with her fiancé, she called her sister to confront her about the situation.

Even though she and her sister look alike, their similarities end there. They have completely different personalities. Unfortunately, she and her sister don’t have a close bond.
When she called her sister, she found out that her fiancé had already spoken to her and given her a heads-up that they’d been caught in the act of making out. Her sister said she was sorry and also blamed her actions on the alcohol.
“Since she’s been single forever, she needed to live life, even if it was only for one night. She told me that she didn’t think straight about the consequences due to her state. She’s always been quite jealous of me, and I don’t know why. My parents have always treated us the same way,” she shared.
While she and her sister both have different things that they’re good at, her sister has always been envious and didn’t want both of them to succeed in life. Her sister wanted to be the best. After the ordeal, she planned to dump her fiancé and block her sister.
She’s also planning to talk to her father, who hasn’t heard about the situation yet, and she knows he’ll take her side.
What would you have done if you’d been in her shoes?
