If you believe in karma, raise your hand. If you believe that people who build their happiness on the heartbreak of others eventually get exactly what’s coming to them, grab some popcorn.

We don’t always get a front row seat to see the people who wronged us face the music. But every now and then, the universe delivers a masterclass in poetic justice, and it seems that’s what happened to her dad and his wife.

This 17-year-old girl’s dad cheated on her mom with the woman he’s now married to. Her dad spent years carrying out his affair, and he was happy her mom was upset about it.

Two years ago, her mom sadly passed away from brain cancer. Her dad was hardly the only person who treated her mom in a soulless manner; his affair partner did as well.

“My dad’s wife was so outspoken that women who keep their men happy will never be cheated on, and she blamed my mom for my dad’s cheating,” she explained.

“Because my mom wouldn’t stay with him, my dad said her misery [and] her heartbreak was her own fault. The two of us argued over it because he didn’t feel like I had any right to be angry with him.”

She was only five when her mom and dad split up, and eight when it dawned on her why: her dad cheated. After her mom passed away, she went to live with her dad and his new homewrecking wife.

She can’t stand living with the happy couple. She hates being in their home and does her best to stay far away from them and their kids.

“Recently, my dad’s wife started to feel weird and went to her doctor, and she ended up being diagnosed with an STD,” she added.

“She went crazy, and my dad lied for two weeks but admitted in the end that he’s been cheating with two women regularly, and there have been a bunch of randos.”

“I love seeing their lives fall apart, and I love their misery. I feel like they both deserve it, and I don’t feel bad for her at all. She wanted me to feel bad for her and even tried to cry on my shoulder.”

Her dad called her out for looking thrilled about his family coming undone. She responded that she was happy because he and his wife never deserved to live happily ever after.

Her dad and his wife are no longer sleeping in the same room, and things are beyond awkward. She can’t really tell if her dad and his wife will survive this one or if it’s meant to be their demise.

All she can guarantee here is that everyone is angry at her for finding so much enjoyment in the situation. Her dad’s wife is especially furious with her for refusing to play big sister to their kids.

She only has a couple of months left until she turns 18 and can finally leave this all behind.

“I can’t move in with family or friends, so I need to figure out a way to not end up going crazy if they keep trying to make me feel bad or do something for the kids,” she continued.

“Either way, I have a plan to go no contact at 18.”

Well, that’s karma, I suppose, and the best thing she can do is get a job, save up her money, and move out of the house as soon as she possibly can!

I really don’t blame her for having no sympathy for her dad and his wife, because they broke her mom’s heart and her marriage.
