She Slept With Her Teacher When She Was 16, And Her Private School Covered It All Up Instead Of Holding Him Accountable

In a perfect world, every teacher who takes advantage of their students would be held accountable, but sadly, that's not always the case.

Right after this 18-year-old girl turned 16, she moved to a new private school, and one of her male teachers, who was 36, really drew her in.

"He caught my eye so [quickly], but I didn’t think anything of it because teacher crushes are a normal thing. He was married, and [had] a child on the way," she explained.

"We became really close, but again, I didn’t think anything weird of it because he was my teacher, and even though I had a slight crush on him, this type of closeness was just normal to me."

"But maybe 6-7 months later, he tried to get closer to me. He started talking to me more often, [sending me messages on different social media platforms]. Of course, for a schoolgirl, this was a dream come true."

She did end up sleeping with her teacher, but her intention was never to convince him to walk away from his family or hurt his wife at all.

Eventually, she did inform her teacher that it was a bad idea for them to be together. She has a lot of shame surrounding what happened.

She warned her teacher about how his life would definitely be over if anyone found out about the two of them, but he argued that he knew what he was doing as a grown man, so she kept on hooking up with him.

They spent months in a secret relationship, and she says that her teacher definitely cared about her. He listened to her and doled out advice.

"Nobody suspected us, because he was such an upright family man, and [I], on the other hand, was the exact opposite. The whole thing continued until after the birth of his son," she added.

"During our time...he asked me for photos and this and that, but I never got up and left because I was so desperate. After the birth, I finally stopped talking to him. However, I can’t bring myself to stop thinking about him or myself."

"How I almost destroyed someone else’s family and how desperate I was for someone else’s man…even to this day, why can’t I bring myself to a stop when we’ve ended a year ago. I don’t want him back, but he never left me. I’m disgusting and a homewrecker. I should move on and live my life, but I can’t."

She did tell one of her other teachers about how she hooked up with that one male teacher, and the truth did come out to the school.

But what's sad is that the teachers and kids who knew about what happened blamed it all on her while keeping the secret.

The founder of the school was her teacher's sister, which further prevented her teacher from facing any consequences, and it was all swept under the rug. Nobody wanted the school to get a bad reputation.

It's repulsive and nauseating to me that she was preyed on and is feeling like this was all her fault, because it wasn't. I hope she can get a therapist to help her realize all of this, and going to the police could be a solution since the school failed her in getting her justice.
