Recently, TikToker Gabriela (@gabriela.garbato) found out that her boyfriend faked his enrollment at the University of Florida and was lying to everyone in his life about it.
From the start, Gabriela was already skeptical about him being a premed student there. She had just graduated from the university on a premed track and would ask him stuff about his classes.
He knew quite a lot for not having been to college. He really did his research on what classes to take for a premed track. But when Gabriela asked who his professor was for his biochemistry class, he didn't know, and that was strange because there was only one professor for the subject at the time.
It was the little details that made her raise an eyebrow.
"So, I was a little skeptical, but I told myself that I was crazy," said Gabriela. "Like, who would fake going to the University of Florida? Who would fake going to college in general?"
But one night, Gabriela overheard her boyfriend talking to his mom on the phone about "reviewing his future" and finally took it upon herself to look him up in the university's student directory. She found out that he had never been a student at the University of Florida.
When she confronted him, he admitted that he had been lying about everything. He had even pretended to be in an ethics class and wrote fake essays in front of her.
He showed her assignments and projects that did not exist. They also studied together, but in reality, he had been studying for nothing.
The best part was when she asked him what his GPA was one time, and he made up a GPA that was conveniently 0.1 points higher than hers.

Another thing he had lied about was his enrollment at Midland University in Nebraska. He had claimed that he was accepted on a bowling scholarship.
Once he confessed to lying about attending the University of Florida, he also confessed to lying about having a bowling scholarship to Midland University.
He never attended that school either. The truth was that he went to Santa Fe College, a community college in Gainesville, Florida, and dropped out after two years.
"When I knew him and met him three months ago, he was not a student at any university, and he had long dropped out of Santa Fe for about a year at this point," said Gabriela.
"So, once again, all those assignments, all those essays, all those classes, he made up. He faked a schedule."
Afterward, he thanked her for exposing his big secret so that he could finally live his real life. She is currently in the process of breaking up with him.
"I really did love him, but I can't be with someone who I genuinely do not know and who could so casually and confidently lie to every single person in his life," concluded Gabriela.
"Everyone thought that he was premed at the University of Florida, not just me. So, I don't know how he can lie...when he is actually unenrolled, unemployed, and uneducated."
@gabriela.garbato Plz blow this up because i need a win in my life right now #fyp #college #universityofflorida #uf #storytime
