Microsoft Celebrates the Year of the Dragon with Limited Edition Mice

mk ATM yod otherviews01 572x315 Microsoft Celebrates the Year of the Dragon with Limited Edition MiceHeads up – Chinese New Year is a little early this coming year. On January 23rd, 2012, we’ll ring in the year of the dragon, along with new energetic, warm-hearted, and sometimes egotistical babies. You can start celebrating early with these Microsoft mice, decked out with dragons to ring in the new year.

The Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 Year of the Dragon Edition comes with either red or gold dragon designs. The dragon on the mouse was designed by artist Nod Young, who drew inspiration from the Nine-Dragon Wall of Beihai Park in China and from Dragon Ball, a popular cartoon. Both versions look appropriately bright and festive, and sell for $30 each.

The light, portable Arc Touch Mouse is also getting the dragon treatment, with a special edition that boasts a royal five-claw dragon from designer Lin Xu-Pan. The Arc Touch Mouse features a classy dark gray on black color scheme and sells for about $60. Looks like Microsoft is wishing everyone good fortune a little early this year.
