She Decided To Call CPS On Her Boyfriend In Order To Rescue His 8-Year-Old Daughter

If you had the chance to make a difference in a child’s life and rescue them from a bad situation, would you go the extra mile, even if it meant putting yourself at risk or inconveniencing yourself?
One woman bravely decided to call CPS on her boyfriend in order to rescue his 8-year-old daughter, and then she stayed with this guy for months after making that call in order to make sure his daughter would get out safely.
This woman is the definition of a selfless hero, and her story begins right after she started dating her boyfriend and went to his house for the very first time.
As she began spending more time with her boyfriend and his 8-year-old daughter, she realized that her boyfriend was an awful dad.
Not only did her boyfriend not care about keeping his home safe and clean for his daughter, but he also had no interest in being involved in his daughter’s life at all.
Her boyfriend’s daughter split her time between his house and her biological mom’s house, where things were no better for this poor girl.
“When she was at his house all she would do was sit on her phone on Tiktok with headphones in,” she explained.
“The whole day. I wish it was an exaggeration. The only food they ate was leftovers he brought home from his nursing home cook job (1 meal a day).”
“I bought her shoes as hers were literally falling apart, I went to her parent-teacher conferences. She smelled really bad and never brushed her hair.”

“We had fights over making her bathe. I bought her a bed for his house. I bought food and snacks for her (I didn’t even live there). I took her to school every day. I did everything I could to improve her condition. Her mother’s house was even worse.”
At some point in this relationship, she had to undergo an operation on her spine, so she was recovering at her boyfriend’s home.
During her recovery, she tripped over her boyfriend’s daughter’s shoes that had been left in the way and she ended up getting quite injured because of it.
After that, she kindly asked her boyfriend’s daughter about making sure to pick up after herself, but her boyfriend freaked out on her for telling his child what to do.
One week before this incident, her boyfriend had actually proposed to her and she accepted. Well, that was it for her, she was out.
She called up CPS and reported him, as well as the mom of her boyfriend’s daughter. She didn’t dump her boyfriend right away; she then kept seeing him for another 2 more months just so she could collect “evidence” and help with the case.
“He never suspected and still doesn’t know it was me who called,” she said. “She has been removed from the home and placed in foster care that I am closely monitoring.”
“I will have full custody of her soon. I am disabled so I’m having to go through some hoops to make sure I’m a fit parent (already passed!) and move into an apartment big enough for us.”
Sadly, her now ex-boyfriend’s daughter has completed some testing that showed that she is “severely behind” in terms of her education and maturity emotions-wise.
None of this has anything to do with this little girl’s abilities; her being behind is simply because of the “neglect” she suffered at the hands of her mom and dad.
The abuse her ex-boyfriend’s daughter was experiencing was far worse than she ever initially was aware of, but the good news is, since this little girl was removed from her ex-boyfriend’s home, she is living her best life.
She is in a school she likes, and she is doing so well.
“I still feel a little bit guilty that he doesn’t know I’m the reason behind all of this,” she continued. “And that I stayed with him just to build a case against him. He also lost his job.”
It gave me chills to read her story. This woman truly is a hero.
