She’s Ranking The Best Tacos In New York City, And Here Are Her Top Picks

This comment was left on one of Seema Pankhania’s viral TikTok video where she spent the day rating taco shops around New York City.
Seema has been taking one for the team and eating nonstop to help those in the surrounding city find a delicious and affordable taco.
She started the TikTok off at the bottom of her list at La Esquina, where she got the chicken adobo tacos.
The influencer rated her first round of tacos with a 2/10, one bite; everybody knows the rules.
To her, the tacos were overpriced, a bit dry, and needed salt. You can quickly see her excitement fade as she continues to eat her tacos.
Tacombi on 30 W 24th Street was her next taco shop destination. Here she rated their tacos with a 5/10 as they were juicy and had great flavor!
However, the tacos should have had more filling, and her shells fell apart as she ate them.

Next on the list is Taco Bandito on 325 8th avenue! Seema rated her tacos as a “better version of Taco Bell” with a 6/10! They were quite delicious.
But, something about them did not compare to the rest, or as she captioned in the TikTok video, “not in the same league as the others.” As a bonus, their tacos were dirt cheap, so they were definitely a place to test out in the middle of New York City.
While Taco Bandito was a solid 6/10, her second favorite option was the infamous Los Tacos No. 1, 229 W 43rd street.
Here Seema got the pork, chicken, and steak tacos, with the pork being her favorite. These tacos secured a perfect score of 10/10 for their incredible flavor, extra spicy sauces, juiciness, great price, and excellent horchata.
Seema finished off her New York City taco journey with a grand slam at Los Mariscos in Chelsea Market.
The tacos here were so delicious that Seema noted she had never had tacos this good in her entire life! Blowing the other taco shops out of the water, she rates Los Mariscos as 1000/10 due to their incredibly crispy fish, life-changing salsa macha, and freshness!
