Ivana Trump’s NYC Townhouse, Where She Passed Away In July, Was Just Listed For A Whopping $26.5 Million

After Ivana Trump died back in July, questions regarding what would happen to her opulent New York City home started to swirl through the media.

The ex-wife of former President Donald Trump was seventy-three years old when she was found unconscious at the base of her apartment stairs on Thursday, July 14.

Medical examiners determined Ivana’s cause of death to be blunt force impact injuries to the torso and concluded that she had fallen. Her fall was also ruled accidental and was not investigated as suspicious.

Still, in the four months since Ivana’s passing, her Upper East Side mansion– where she lived for three decades– has hung in the balance.

Well, that was until 11 days ago, when the property was co-listed by Modlin Group and Douglas Elliman for a massive chunk of change.

When Ivana first purchased her five-story townhouse in 1992, she paid $2.5 million. Now, thirty years later, the home’s value has increased over ten times.

It has since been listed by Ivana’s children, Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka, for a whopping $26.5 million. The profits will reportedly be split between the three children.

The home is located at 10 East 64th Street and boasts over eight thousand and seven hundred square feet of pure space in one of the most crowded cities in the world.

The townhouse was constructed in 1879 and featured a limestone exterior contrasted by sleek gold and black grilled doors. Inside, the home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a grand spiraling staircase, a powder room, and more. The second floor of the townhouse is dedicated to entertainment– equipped with four chandeliers and ceilings reaching over ten and a half feet. There lies a parlor that flows into a luxurious living room that overlooks East 64th Street, as well as a dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook a private courtyard and the main kitchen.

The third floor is home to just one set of accommodations– the entire primary suite. This floor, fit for a queen or king, features a south-facing bedroom with private terrace access and the ensuite of your dreams. And, of course, the primary suite level would not be complete without an oversized walk-in closet. The fourth floor houses three more bedrooms, one with an ensuite; meanwhile, the fifth floor boasts a massive guest bedroom with an ensuite, as well as two additional adjoining bedrooms.

And for those who specifically love more unique perks, this home has those, too. The first floor of the mansion is home to a large media room with a second kitchen and home office. You can also stroll outside in the garden or head down to the basement to lounge in a Swedish sauna.

Since being posted on Zillow, the home has garnered over eighty thousand views on the platform and has been saved by over one thousand and six hundred prospective buyers. Whoever ends up purchasing this property will have to have some seriously deep pockets, though– because the estimated mortgage payment is a jaw-dropping one hundred and sixty-two thousand dollars per month.

On top of that, the annual property tax is estimated to be about one hundred and twenty thousand dollars per year. To get in touch with the property’s listing agents or simply gawk at this massive mansion, you can visit the Zillow listing linked here.
