She Kicked Her Niece Out After Her Niece Kept Bullying Her Daughter, Who Is A Teen Mom
When this forty-eight-year-old woman first got pregnant with her daughter, Amelia, her ex left before his daughter was born. So, she has been a single mother whose world revolves around Amelia ever since.
Her daughter is now seventeen-years-old, and this year, Amelia also became a teen mom to her one-month-old grandson, Owen.
Despite all of the stereotypical assumptions and judgments about teen mothers, though, she could not be more proud of her daughter.
“I’m obviously not proud of Amelia for being a teen mother, but I am extremely proud of her for how she is handling everything,” she explained.
“Amelia is an amazing mother, and she is still doing very well at school.”
Her daughter is also still dating Owen’s father, Raymond– who is also seventeen and reportedly a lovely young man. So, Amelia, Raymond, and baby Owen have all been living in her home together, and she has been supporting them financially.
She is also a lawyer who is lucky enough to have a flexible work-from-home schedule– which means that while Amelia and Raymond are at school, she is able to care for her grandson.
Then, whenever she is needed in the office, Raymond’s parents look after Owen. His parents also pitch in for Owen’s care expenses as well.
And honestly, this system had been working quite perfectly until just last week, when her nineteen-year-old niece Stephanie entered the picture.

It all began after her sister gave her a call and asked if she would be willing to let Stephanie move into her house. Apparently, her niece was having trouble finding affordable housing in their city, so she was gracious enough to say yes and even let Stephanie move in for free.
“I am very big on family taking care of each other, so I didn’t want to charge my sister’s daughter rent,” she said.
As soon as Stephanie got settled in her home, though, she immediately noticed her niece acting very weird about the fact that Amelia was a teen mother. For instance, Stephanie would make tasteless “jokes” that were really just insulting more than anything.
But she refused to allow that in her house and quickly pulled her niece aside. Then, she told Stephanie that she would not tolerate any sort of bullying or teasing.
Even after having that talk, though, her niece did not let up. Instead, Stephanie just moved on to mocking Amelia about her education.
For context, she recently hired a tutor for both Amelia and Raymond in hopes of providing some additional academic support while they try to juggle both parenthood and school. And when Stephanie found out about the new tutor, her niece apparently rolled her eyes and made snide remarks.
“They wouldn’t need one if they had just been responsible,” Stephanie actually said. Then, her niece even accused her of “rewarding bad behavior.”
Still, she just pointed out how she enjoys taking care of her family– which is why Stephanie was even allowed to move into her home in the first place.
After turning her cheek at Stephanie’s sour behavior twice already, though, she could not handle it after her niece disrespected her daughter a third time– and it ended in a major argument.
She first noticed that Stephanie had been taking some of Amelia’s clothes without getting her daughter’s permission. And apparently, she made it clear that taking other people’s belongings would not be tolerated right after Stephanie moved in.
So, she was pretty frustrated but tried to bite her tongue. Well, that was until Amelia actually asked Stephanie for one of her shirts back, and Stephanie made a comment about Amelia’s weight.
Apparently, Stephanie claimed that Amelia did not need the shirt back anymore since she no longer fit into it.
“Amelia did gain weight as a result of the pregnancy and nursing, and it has made her very insecure,” she revealed.
“It was a shirt she wore pre-baby, and she keeps it so she can use it to motivate herself to lose weight.”
Anyway, she ended up stepping in and telling Stephanie to both apologize and return the shirt to her daughter immediately. But when Stephanie refused, she kind of blew up.
She and her niece ended up getting into a massive argument which culminated in her actually packing Stephanie’s bags and sending her niece back to her sister’s house.
And even though she thought that was totally justified given Stephanie’s blatant disrespect, her family has been berating her for overreacting and kicking her niece out.
So now, she has actually begun to feel a bit guilty and has been left wondering whether packing Stephanie’s bags and sending her home was too extreme a punishment or not.
