4 months ago, this 28-year-old girl walked down the aisle and married her 30-year-old fiancé, who really is the love of her life.

While she is madly in love with him, she has to admit that the day of her wedding was pretty much a train wreck.

Let’s first start with her bridal party, though. Because of the pandemic, more than half of the women she invited to be in her bridal party dropped out.

She then decided to ask her fiancé’s 31-year-old cousin Linda to be in her bridal party just a week prior to her wedding day.

Thankfully, Linda fit into one of the bridesmaid dresses that one of her friends had ordered, so she was set.

Even though she did ask Linda to stand up there at the altar with her on her special day, she always thought Linda was strange.

Specifically, Linda has always been bizarrely protective of her fiancé, and Linda has also excluded her from a lot of family events.

Linda routinely asks her family to come to her place to have drinks, and all their significant others are invited too, but Linda never invites her.

So anyway, back to her wedding now that we have set the stage for her relationship with Linda.

“The wedding venue was located at a beautiful barn that was close to my parent’s house,” she explained.

“All the people in the wedding party were invited to stay overnight at my parent’s house so we wouldn’t have to travel the day of. That night she snuck out, claiming she needed to get last-minute things for the wedding. Little did we know she walked to the barn and started her sabotage.”

“The next morning, I got all dressed in my beautiful dress and did my hair and makeup with my bridesmaids. Linda was nowhere to be seen. Thinking this was her trying to get attention, we ignored it and continued having a fabulous morning.”

Her mom then left the house and headed over to the wedding venue so that she could do a couple of other little things before the wedding got started.

When her mom got to the venue, though, she realized that someone had destroyed a lot of the decor, and she phoned her up to tell her about it.

There had been vases full of flowers from her mom’s garden, and they had all been smashed to bits. The water that had been in the vases got all over the venue’s floor, and it was then ruined.

Tablecloths that had been out on the tables for her guests had been cut up, and chairs for her guests to sit on had been thrown around.

“There was a beautiful archway, covered in flowers, that we were supposed to be married under,” she said.

“It had been torn to pieces. When I first heard the news, I had no idea what to do first. We only had 45 minutes until the wedding started, and guests would arrive soon.”

“We ended up just having to sweep up as much glass and flowers as possible and throw it all away. The arch was unsalvageable, and we had to get plastic tablecloths from my mother’s attic to replace the cloth ones she had handmade.”

2 weeks after her wedding day, Linda got drunk and admitted that she ruined all of the decor at her wedding.

After that, she decided she would no longer speak to Linda at all, and even after 4 months, she has stood her ground on that.

Her fiancé’s loved ones have since put pressure on her to find forgiveness in her heart for what Linda did.

Her fiancé’s family also believes Linda only tried to destroy her wedding because Linda is so protective of her fiancé and that Linda thinks she is not “good enough” to be with him.

Her fiancé is on her side with this, but it has driven a wedge in his family.

She’s left wondering if she did blow things out of proportion by not wanting to speak to Linda after what happened on her wedding day.

What do you think; should she forgive Linda?
