Her Mother-In-Law Removed Her Ex-Husband As A Will Beneficiary After He Cheated On Her, So Now She And Her Son Will Be Inheriting Everything, But Her Ex Doesn’t Know
This 26-year-old woman named Amelie currently has a 5-year-old son, who she welcomed into the world with her ex-husband.
But, her marriage eventually came crashing down after she found out that her ex had been cheating on her with his 28-year-old coworker named Bethany.
“I was two months pregnant with our second child when I found out,” she revealed. “And Bethany was going to have his child.”
However, she tragically wound up having a miscarriage. Yet, after suffering that loss, her ex proceeded to leave her in order to be with Bethany.
It has now been two years since her ex and Bethany had their child. Although, her in-laws have completely taken her side in the separation.
In fact, her mother-in-law essentially cut off her ex-husband, Bethany, and their child– choosing to fully support her and her son instead.
She absolutely adores her in-laws, too, and claims that they are the best of friends with her own parents.
Her mother-in-law reportedly loves her and her son more than anything– which seriously frustrates her ex’s mistress.
Apparently, as soon as news of the affair came out, her in-laws immediately cut contact with her ex-husband. And this made Bethany extremely jealous since her ex’s mistress realized her child would not know what it was like to have grandparents.

“But at least her son has a father,” Amelie pointed out.
More recently, though, her mother-in-law has been very ill– which has caused her ex-husband and his mistress to come crawling back into their lives.
Being that her mother-in-law had been sick for a while, it was time to update her will. And according to Amelie, her ex-husband was an only child who was previously set to inherit everything.
Following the affair, however, her mother-in-law decided to change that. So now, her son will be the one to inherit her mother-in-law’s home, villa, and money.
She will also receive a sizable portion of her mother-in-law’s belongings and money. And until her son turns 18-years-old, his share of the inheritance will be kept in her trust.
While her ex-husband does not know about any of this, though, he did catch wind of his mother being ill.
And at that point, he began begging for forgiveness; meanwhile, Bethany started acting nicely toward her mother-in-law completely out of the blue.
“Bethany has started fights and called her horrible names before,” she detailed.
Yet, now, Bethany is trying to force her mother-in-law to be around her child.
She does want to make it clear that she didn’t ask her mother-in-law to do anything, much less rearrange the entire will.
Instead, it has been entirely her choice– because apparently, her mother-in-law wants to “leave with a bang.”
“She wants to reward those who deserve it and get revenge in one go,” Amelie said.
But still, her ex-husband has no clue and believes he is still in line to inherit everything. On top of that, he believes his child will receive an inheritance, too.
Bethany is in on this belief as well and has even started hinting at how she plans to have her child grow up using the money.
For instance, Bethany apparently discussed plans to send her kid to a great college and redo her mother-in-law’s home since she thinks the current decor is distasteful.
Although Amelie’s mother-in-law has not actually forgiven her ex or Bethany, and in all honesty, her mother-in-law despises them for ripping apart the family.
So, the homes and money will all be going to her son. As for Bethany’s comments about her mother-in-law’s interior design choices, she maintains that no changes will be made to the home until her son is 18-years-old.
After all, she believes that since it is her son’s grandmother’s home, he should get the opportunity to cherish it the same way that his grandmother intended (and decorated).
But while she knows about her mother-in-law’s master inheritance plan, she is not allowed to tell anyone.
On top of that, despite knowing that the “revenge” will be pretty satisfying, she is upset that she will have to lose her mother-in-law in the process.
“It’s kind of a win-lose situation, and I dread the day when she will take her last breath. She means a lot to me; I love her,” Amelie admitted.
Nonetheless, her mother-in-law really wants her son to get the inheritance because her mother-in-law’s entire childhood was also ruined due to an affair.
So now, while she is glad that her son will always know his grandmother loved him, she wishes they could both get more time with her mother-in-law.
