She Was Trying To Get Her Twin Sister Out Of A Toxic Relationship, But Ever Since She Called Her Twin’s Boyfriend Awful And Disgusting, Her Sister Has Refused To Talk To Her
This 21-year-old woman and her twin sister have always been super close. So, after her twin started dating a new guy, she was genuinely happy for her sister.
But unfortunately, her twin’s satisfaction with the relationship only lasted for about two weeks. Apparently, the issues with her sister’s boyfriend started back in December 2022.
While she was living with her own boyfriend, her sister kept showing up at her doorstep and begging to sleep over in her guest room.
And obviously, she was not going to say no. However, the reasons why her sister kept fleeing to her house really bothered her.
It came out that her twin’s boyfriend would ignore her sister and never answer any texts. She also found out that the guy was mean to her twin whenever her sister tried to speak. On top of that, she learned her twin’s boyfriend had cheated on his last ex-girlfriend.
That’s why, at the time, she immediately told her sister to stop dating the guy. After all, it had only been two weeks by that point.
But her sister claimed to love her boyfriend a lot, so the relationship continued.
And after a while, she detailed how her twin apparently “became delusional.” More specifically, her sister made a ton of life changes just for her boyfriend.
For instance, her twin first moved in with the guy and basically refused to leave his side. Then, her sister proceeded to drop out of college so she and her boyfriend could move to Sweden together.

“That’s what he promised they would do,” she clarified. “And, of course, they didn’t. He manipulated her.”
In fact, she claimed that her twin’s boyfriend manipulated her sister into thinking she was mentally ill, psychotic, and needed to change.
Then, the guy even claimed that her family wanted to ruin her sister’s life and advised her twin to cut everybody off!
By that point, though, her twin had become obsessed with her boyfriend and actually contemplated his claims about her family.
Since her twin was already living with the guy, though, he eventually kicked her sister out and claimed that he “couldn’t stand to live with her.”
But eventually, her twin’s boyfriend came crawling back– seemingly in search of money.
Apparently, her twin had only recently started financially providing for the two of them. So, while working a minimum-wage job, her sister was expected to pay for all of the bills and food. At the same time, her sister’s boyfriend did absolutely nothing.
That’s why, after her twin’s boyfriend called one evening and started begging for her sister to go back to living with him, that was her last straw.
She wound up telling her twin straight-up that the guy was just plain awful. Then, she revealed all of her opinions on her sister’s boyfriend and tried to get her sister to see how manipulative he was being.
“I said that she should leave him, that it hurts me and hurts our family,” she recalled.
Her twin didn’t understand her perspective, though, and just became mad and defensive. Plus, her sister even rushed to defend her boyfriend!
So, after about 30 more minutes of arguing about this, her twin wound up storming out of her apartment and slamming the door on her way out. And ever since then, her sister has refused to talk to her or anyone else in their family.
That’s why she has started to feel pretty guilty about being honest with her twin.
“Should I have done this? Should I have kept my mouth shut?” she vented. “She isn’t calling me or anything, and I’m so worried.”
So now, she’s been left wondering whether calling her twin’s boyfriend awful and disgusting was the wrong way to handle the situation.
