She’s Dishing On Some Of The Reasons Why Women Stopped Talking To Men Who Were Interested In Them

First dates don’t always work out. Sometimes there are major red flags that make you say “absolutely not” to any future interactions.
But it doesn’t always have to be some massive flaw that makes you want to never see someone again. TikTok creator @definitelydeela shares some of the funniest and smallest reasons why women never went back for another date.
In the background of her video are Tweets from women on why they never talked to their dates again.
“So the question was, what’s the smallest reason you ever stopped talking to a man?” Deela asks.
And the answers that she finds are incredible.
One woman tweeted that her date “changed my 10-piece wing to a 5-piece,” which was absolutely enough for her to call it off.
Their responses call out men for their mistakes and unfortunate behavior that easily turn women away. Even the most minute details can be enough to put you off of any possible relationship.
“He pronounced the L in salmon while ordering at dinner,” another woman tweeted.
It’s important to have basic social skills on a date, but it’s important to have basic spelling skills, too: or at least access to a dictionary.

“Spelled celery as ‘selori’,” one user Tweeted. That mistake was an immediate “no” to any future dates for her.
While the smallest things can be a problem, something that might seem like a ‘petty’ reason for dumping someone actually isn’t.
“We went to a restaurant…he told me to tip big because his baby mama was our waitress,” one woman responded.
Something of that level is a rightful excuse for kicking them to the curb. Too much drama involved. Deela’s video resonated with a lot of people. Some of their stories are even worse than the ones in the video.
“I found out that he originally had a crush on my little sister, and she had turned him down, so he went to the next best thing since I looked like her,” one commenter wrote.
And some men are downright mean.
“Sent me a selfie from the gym, I complimented him because the man was parched, he then hits me with ‘could be you if you started going,'” another commented.
But the consensus across the board is that bad spelling and pronunciation is the biggest problem. These stories frequently populated the comments section.
One user wrote, “He couldn’t spell at all. We met in person it seemed fine, then he texted me and spelled dolphins ‘dullfinns’ and had the audacity to say I was wrong.”
“I had a date say “skent” instead of ‘scent’,” another said.
“Just yesterday, he pronounced the ‘S’ in Illinois. I honestly don’t have the patience.”
The takeaway is if you’re going on a date, make sure you know how to spell. Otherwise, you may never see them again.
