You Don’t Have To Put On A Pair Of Heels And Go Out Dancing To Have An Epic Girls’ Night, And Here Are Some Ideas That Will Keep You And Your Friends Feeling Creative And Fun

Are your girls’ nights starting to get a little boring?
For instance, when making a special evening carved out for you and your girlfriends, do you end up sitting in someone’s living room with a glass of wine most of the time?
There is nothing wrong with a simple wine night every once in a while, but if that’s the only thing you do when you see your girls, it might be time to switch things up.
You also don’t have to put on a pair of heels and go out dancing to have an epic girls’ night! Here are some alternative ideas that will keep you and your friends feeling creative and fun.
1. At Home Paint & Sip Night
This is a great one, as it still involves a trusty glass of wine. Paint and sip classes can be a lot of fun but also pricey and difficult to plan in advance. However, they’re super easy to have at home! Go to a local craft or discount store and split the cost of canvases, paint, and brushes with your girlfriends.
Set up everything, stream an easy painting tutorial on your TV, pour everyone a glass of wine, and follow along with the tutorial! This idea is great for having fun and learning something new, even if you’re not an artist.
2. PowerPoint Night
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, people have been getting really creative with having fun indoors. PowerPoint nights were one of the ways friend groups had a great time inside while making each other laugh and having silly debates.

Assign or let each of your girlfriends choose a silly topic to make a creative PowerPoint presentation on. It could be rating each other’s exes, choosing everyone’s celebrity lookalikes, comparing each friend to a Disney character, etc.
Then let everyone take turns displaying and presenting their PowerPoints on your TV! The possibilities for a hilarious presentation are endless.
3. Invent Your Own Cocktail Night
This is a girls’ night trend that has been taking TikTok by storm. Invite your girlfriends over and have them bring the ingredients for a cocktail they’ve invented themselves. The cocktails could all fall under a certain theme and be based on your favorite shows, artists, etc., or just be super unique.
For some extra fun, turn cocktail night into a competition and rank each one before declaring the person with the best cocktail a winner!
4. Vision Board Night
If you’re in the mood to not only get inspired but get crafty, hosting a vision board night is the perfect girls’ night for you. Invite your girlfriends and have them bring over magazines, newspapers, and printed pictures for things to include on a vision board.
You can make a group vision board or have everyone make their own to fill with inspiring pictures and phrases. Even if it sounds cheesy, hosting a vision board night is a fun way to check in with your hopes and desires alongside your friends.
4. Cooking Night
Is there a recipe you’ve been eyeing on a blog or in a cookbook that you’ve been wanting to make but need extra help with? Call over your girlfriends and have a cooking night! Dinner parties are more fun when everyone is involved in the preparation process.
Have everyone split the groceries needed to make a delicious dish for multiple people and get cooking. Each person can have their own role and task, and by the end of the night, you’ll have eaten something tasty you can all take pride in.
5. At Home Karaoke Night
Do you love the idea of karaoke but would never dare to sing in a crowded bar? That’s alright, have a karaoke night with your girlfriends at home! There are so many karaoke-style videos online that you can stream on your TV as if you were standing on a stage at a bar or restaurant. Gather your closest friends, pour a couple of drinks, choose your favorite song, and sing your heart out in the privacy of your own home!
6. Spa Day
This one is a classic. If you want to invite your girlfriends to a salon or professional spa to get some treatments together, that’s great, but having a spa day at home is much less expensive. Have your friends bring their choice of nail polish, skincare, body lotions, etc., and pamper yourselves!
Make designated stations in your home for mani/pedis, facials, and refreshments. While waiting for your nails to dry or your face mask to set, throw on a movie you’ve all been dying to see. It’s an excellent opportunity to treat yourself to some self-care while surrounding yourself with the people you love.
If you’ve been struggling to mix up your girl’s nights, try one of these out and see if you can make a new group tradition!
