He Found Out His Wife Was Cheating By Going Through Her Phone, But Now She’s Claiming That Invading Her Privacy Like That Was Worse Than The Affairs
A few days ago, this man discovered that his wife had been having affairs with multiple men. He learned that she was hooking up with other people during her pregnancy.
The affairs stopped before the birth, but she continued sleeping with other men 14 months after their son was born.
He gathered all of this information when his wife had surgery. Since he had her phone for a few hours while she was undergoing the surgery, he looked through it and made these horrible discoveries.
His wife had clearly attempted to delete some incriminating messages, but much evidence remained.
According to his wife, she lost interest in him because due to their financial situation, she had to work throughout her pregnancy.
“My wife is not very work-motivated (she hates working) and always wanted to be a housewife, even before we had kids, but this just isn’t ideal, as we live in an expensive town. I have been suspicious of my wife because she is really secretive on her phone,” he said.
He and his wife are Asian, and in their culture, it’s important for families to offer support and pitch in with childcare, no matter the circumstances.
Both his and his wife’s parents have already retired and watch their son while they’re at work or whenever they need time to themselves. So, he and his wife had a lot of baby-free hours, which gave his wife a lot of time to cheat on him.
“The downside is that our cultural background is the reason why we can’t get a divorce. It’s highly frowned upon in the community. Literally, nobody in my family has ever had a divorce,” he explained.

His family would be humiliated if he chose to divorce his wife. It was difficult not to ask his wife about the affairs right after he found out about them, but since she was exhausted, groggy, and on pain medication, he knew he had to wait until later. So, he broached the subject the day after her surgery.
“She said I was wrong for going through her phone, and me going through her phone is worse than what she ever did because, as a man, I should have been providing for her,” he shared.
His wife continued ranting about how it was his duty to support her so that she could be a housewife.
Then, she stated that he disrespected her boundaries and right to privacy by looking through her phone without her consent. She became angrier, asking if he texted anyone from her phone, impersonating her.
