Baggy Boyfriend Jeans May Be The Talk Of The Town, But You Can Still Make Skinny Jeans Look Cool: Here’s How

Is there a fashion trend or a trend that went “out of style” that had you really pressed?
For me, I’m upset that people are beginning to ditch skinny jeans. While no, they’re not totally being cast out of the fashion world, their reigning popularity has been replaced with baggier, wide-leg jeans.
While wide-leg and baggy jeans look very cool and are the talk of the town, finding the perfect pair can be hard for some people. For instance, I have curvy and short legs, so finding a good pair of wide-leg pants that fit and don’t hang down to the floor is difficult for me!
That’s why I love skinny jeans. I can usually find ones that fit and hug my body in a good way, and if they’re a little long, I can simply roll them up.
If you’re like me and still don’t want to give up wearing your skinny jeans, here are some ways to style them!
With knee-high boots
Knee-high boots are making a comeback and are the perfect shoe for skinny jeans. This is a quick way to add a cool, preppy, equestrian vibe to your wardrobe, and it pairs well with a nice blazer and a blouse.
With loafers and a button-up
If you want to feel more sophisticated with your skinny jeans, an easy way to do that is by wearing them with a tucked-in button-up shirt. To get a little more fancy, pop on a pair of loafers. Or, if loafers aren’t really your thing, this classic combo goes great with some neutral sneakers or ankle boots.

With a tank top and sneakers
Skinny jeans and sneakers are a great pairing if you need to run errands and be in multiple places. If you need a simple outfit to throw on that keeps you cool and casual, throw on a tank top with your skinny jeans and sneakers, and you’re good to go. Select some bold jewelry or keep things chill with your go-to minimalist pieces to jazz up this look.
With a bodysuit and heels
If you’re trying to look a little more ‘snatched’ on your next night out this summer, wearing a bodysuit and skinny jeans is the way to make it happen. Pair these two closet essentials with heels or heeled sandals and your favorite jewelry to elevate the look.
With a leather jacket and boots
When you have a great, big leather jacket, pairing it with skinny jeans is a good choice for extenuating it. If you want your figure to look a bit more flattering, wearing skinny jeans with a leather jacket as opposed to super baggy jeans will help. Add a pair of great boots like Doc Martens, and you’ve got a cool look to rock for a chilly evening.
If you wear these looks this year, you’ll help ensure that good, ole, reliable skinny jeans never officially go out of style.
