He Used Uber Eats And iCloud To Piece Together His Wife’s Affair After She Acted Suspiciously On A Girls’ Trip To Miami

In April, this 31-year-old man’s 28-year-old wife planned a trip to Miami with her friends. This girls’ trip happened in July, and it fell on the same week as his wife’s birthday.
Before his wife left for Miami, she stated that she was doing a social media detox, so she would not be taking any photos, nor would she be on her phone.
Immediately, he became suspicious of his wife’s intentions on the trip, but he’s not an insecure kind of guy, so he brushed that nagging feeling aside.
“Her birthday night rolls around, and I call her while she’s supposedly “at a bar having cocktails,” he explained.
“She refuses to answer; says I’m ruining her birthday. I just want to celebrate a little with my wife. I ask her to at least send a photo of her and the girls.”
“She refuses, shuts me out cold. At this point, I am 100% sure she is hiding something because my wife would never turn down a photo opportunity.”
One hour later, his wife sent him a confirmation that she was going to be flying home early the following afternoon.
He thought it was super weird that she spent two nights on her trip when it was booked for an entire week.
His wife maintained he destroyed her trip with the crazy amount of phone calls he placed to her. Knowing this was a total lie, he knew what he had to do: snoop through his wife’s things.

“I get all the receipts from her Uber usage and saw that Uber Eats orders were only for 2 people in a girls’ trip of 3 girls; I found a Google reservation confirmation for only 2 people; I even got access to her location through iCloud and found that she was not at a bar at all that night, but back at the Airbnb,” he said.
“iCloud also let me see photos that were synced, and she received gifts of international chocolates from a country of somebody I had previously been suspicious about.”
“So she came home pretending nothing was happening. Refusing to speak with me, completely enraged. But I knew the truth. The next morning I took another snoop at the iCloud and found a deleted photo of the flight confirmation of the international man I had been previously suspicious about. It was a flight leaving Miami the same day as my wife. It was all the proof needed.”
He demanded that his wife tell him about what had really gone down on her trip to Miami and outlined that he knew the truth already from what he had pieced together.
His wife declined to be honest, so he began pulling out all of the evidence as she kept on denying that she cheated.
From there, his wife started making up wild tales in an effort to explain everything away. He played along, and finally, his wife caved and confessed.
His wife still sprinkled lies in even after admitting to the affair, as she was obviously trying to downplay the situation to make it sound less awful.
“Her Uber receipts showed the address of the Airbnb, so I found it on the Airbnb site,” he added. “Even after confessing, she insisted that it was a girls’ trip, that she was really with the girls, and that her girlfriend had booked the Airbnb.”
“But the…international guy left a review on the Airbnb, which is the solid proof that there were never any girls involved in the trip at all.”
He’s been married to his wife for barely three years, but they did have a long stretch of time where he wasn’t super happy with their personal life.
He spent the next nine months ignoring his wife on a physical level, and she ended up meeting the international man she took the trip to Miami with on a language learning app.
He realizes that amid their struggles, he lost his wife to whatever fantasy she developed about this international guy.
They both made mistakes, and they said they wanted to work through everything, but clearly, his wife has chosen otherwise.
“The problem now is that she has not been able to quit her affair partner,” he continued. “A week after she promised to cut him off, I did some more snooping and found a Facetime screenshot of a call she had with him after making this promise.”
“I brought it up to her, and she claimed it was a moment of weakness. Promised to cut him off for good this time. A week later, I found his number saved in her notes app.”
“Every time I confront her (in a delicate and respectful way) about these little lies that keep popping up she turns into a different person who has tunnel vision and cannot think of anything except for an escape. It’s so hard for her to face the truth or tell the truth that she’ll rage instead, looking for the quickest exit, which, after finding this saved phone number, has been asking for a divorce. Nothing else can come out of her mouth except divorce, divorce, divorce instead of just confessing to the truth.”
He’s left wondering if this marriage can be saved. What do you think?
