This man and his wife, who is 35, have been married for 10 years now, and they have two children – an 8-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son.

Like many couples, they’ve weathered both the good and the bad together in their relationship. And they always managed to make it out in one piece.

“Until last weekend,” he said, “Now, I am questioning everything.”

Apparently, his wife has begun watching “prank videos” on YouTube – and she finds them totally hilarious. So, she started playing pranks on both him and their kids, most of which were funny and harmless.

However, while they were all out to dinner last weekend, his wife took it way too far.

For some context, he, his wife, and their two children went out to eat at a nice restaurant to celebrate their anniversary. Yet, while they were just waiting for their food to arrive at the table, his wife did the unthinkable.

All of a sudden, she randomly stood up and began screaming that he was choking her!

“She was holding her throat, tripping and falling to the ground, pretending to choke. Everyone in the restaurant turned to look at us,” he recalled.

He, on the other hand, just stood there in shock and had no idea what was going on.

So, after some other customers rushed over to help his wife, she eventually started laughing and claiming she was just “kidding.”

This understandably left him feeling both furious and mortified, too.

“The kids were crying, the other customers were staring at us, and the manager came over to see what was wrong. I couldn’t believe she thought it was funny,” he explained.

He was even so angry that he told his wife he’d had enough of her pranks. Afterward, he grabbed the kids and took them home – leaving his wife alone at the restaurant.

Once back at his house, he also packed a duffel bag for both himself and his kids before they went to stay at his brother’s house.

During all of this, his wife kept calling and texting him – accusing him of overreacting since she was just playing around.

“And that I embarrassed her by leaving her there, and she thinks I owe her an apology,” he revealed.

Some of their friends have since heard about what happened, too, and they’re all split on the situation. Some believe he had a right to leave her there, while others think he handled the incident poorly.

So now, he’s unsure if taking the kids and leaving his wife behind was justified, given the prank or not.

Do you think his wife’s “prank” was funny or overboard? How would you feel if your spouse pulled something like this?
