Working at a coffee shop usually means dealing with early-morning caffeine addicts, complicated drink orders, and coffee spills. Sometimes, it includes walking into a full-blown cheating scandal before the breakfast rush.
When TikToker Alicia (@alicefrom_space) worked at Dunkin’ Donuts, there seemed to be more drama than there were donuts. She once walked in on her manager cheating on her husband.
They had just run out of milk, so she threw the door open to the walk-in fridge to get some more. However, she was met with an unpleasant surprise. Her manager was there kissing another guy.
She quickly grabbed the milk and went back to making coffee, as if nothing had happened. But she did tell her coworker that she saw the manager kissing this guy…because who wouldn’t?
That’s when the plot twisted even further. Her coworker informed her that the manager was married to someone else who also worked at Dunkin’ Donuts.
Nothing spices up a minimum-wage job like workplace chaos. This scandal was hotter than any cup of brew they served.
“She was the only one I told, but I guess other people were listening,” said Alicia. “They told us they could hear us on the cameras, and that’s a lie. So, they started spreading rumors about how I’m a liar. I saw what I saw.”
The manager tried to cover up her infidelity by claiming she was just trying to comfort the guy because he was going through a hard time. The whole ordeal has taught Alicia a valuable lesson about knocking before entering the walk-in.
You never know what kind of extracurricular activities are taking place in there, but you can bet that the people hiding out in the walk-in are skipping out on doing their jobs.

Of course, many TikTok users couldn’t resist diving into the mess. They shared similar scandalous stories from other Dunkin’ locations across the nation. Apparently, this chain is riddled with more gossip and drama than a high school cafeteria.
“The Dunkin’ near me got caught taking used cups and washing them to reuse to save money. Inside source told me. Out of the trash and all,” commented one user.
“Must be something in the air because my manager was the side piece for the district manager. His wife would come through sometimes, and that was awkward,” declared another.
“This was my manager, and the other guy was married to another woman who managed another Dunkin’ owned by the same owner,” stated a third.
“My sister walked in on her manager cheating on her husband and doing drugs when she worked at Dunkin’,” added someone else.
At this point, Dunkin’ might want to consider adding the position of drama control specialist to their job listings because they desperately need one!
