When TikToker @itskbakes was freshly 18 years old, she found a man on Facebook who claimed to be a tattoo artist, but he only had two pictures of his work on his profile page.

For some reason, she believed that he was really a tattoo artist and decided to book an appointment with him.

He said he was available that same day, so she drove to the address that he sent her. On the way there, he texted her, saying that he had just gotten out of jail. He needed to be picked up from his friend’s place and dropped off to the place where he was going to do the tattoo.

She agreed and ended up driving this strange man to his baby mama’s house. They got into a fight and argued for over an hour. She simply sat on the couch and played with the kids while she waited for her tattoo appointment to start.

When they were finally done arguing, he told @itskbakes that the kids had messed up his ink and tattoo gun, so he needed her to drive him to a tattoo shop to pick up the supplies.

At the tattoo shop, he asked her if she could buy the supplies. He had no money because he had just gotten out of jail. He promised to deduct the cost of the supplies from the price of her tattoo.

So, @itskbakes bought the stuff and drove back to the baby mama’s house. However, the mother wasn’t home, so they couldn’t even get inside to start the tattoo.

He stated that she should be back within an hour. Meanwhile, he started doing a design on @itskbakes’s leg, even though they hadn’t even agreed on a design yet.

He took out a permanent marker and began drawing on her leg. Finally, the baby mama returned home. She was understandably mad about the fact that he was doing a random girl’s tattoo outside her house.

They argued again for another 30 minutes. Then, the baby mama let them inside. He spent four hours on the tattoo, only for it to be nowhere close to being done.

He asked her to come back the next day and for her to pay him the full $300 upfront, even though the tattoo was still unfinished. Somehow, after everything that happened, she still gave him the money.

In the comments section, many TikTok users were stunned by the situation and how many opportunities that @itskbakes could have taken to walk away.

“Girl, I’m 18 and never in my life would I do anything like this,” wrote one user.

“I can’t remember any age where I was this dumb,” stated another.

“Girl, I would have just stayed at the tattoo shop and gotten it done there,” commented a third.
