About two months ago, TikToker Sarah (@sarah.kate0959) and her boyfriend broke up because he claimed that he was dealing with family issues and needed to take some time for himself.
They both also felt like they weren’t growing in their relationship, so they decided to end things.
A month later, everything unraveled in the worst way possible. She found out that her little sister was pregnant with his child. One of Sarah’s closest friends had been telling her about her suspicions of her little sister and boyfriend sneaking around together behind her back.
But Sarah’s boyfriend was three years older than her little sister, and she thought there was no way that would ever happen. Sadly, she was wrong.
“And the reason why a lot of people were suspicious, because it wasn’t just my close friend; there were a few of my other friends who were pretty suspicious,” said Sarah.
“It was because my boyfriend and her would hang out quite a lot, and they would post cute little selfies of them on Instagram and TikTok videos and stuff like that.”
There were even times when he would cancel on Sarah to hang out with her little sister instead. She thought that he was just being friendly toward her little sister.
Sarah discovered her little sister was pregnant through an Instagram story while she was on vacation with her friend. So, her ex-boyfriend hadn’t broken up with her because of family issues. He broke up with her because he got her little sister pregnant!
It didn’t take long for her to connect the dots. They both posted a maternity shoe, so Sarah knew it was her ex’s baby. She texted them, and they said that they were going to tell her when she returned from vacation.

Looking back, the signs had been there all along. Not only had she been betrayed by her boyfriend, but also by her own sister.
Plus, a baby complicates everything even further. With a baby involved, the situation isn’t a temporary one. It means their lives will be intertwined moving forward, whether she likes it or not, putting her in an incredibly difficult position.
“I guess now he’s a part of my family, but she’s been staying at his house the past few days since I got back from vacation, but we’re all going to dinner to talk about this,” she concluded.
The interaction is bound to be as uncomfortable as it is emotional. Now, Sarah is wondering if she should forgive them and give them the benefit of the doubt.
To her, there is really no clear answer because this isn’t just about a breakup: it’s about trust, family, and a sisterly bond that has been broken, possibly forever.
