A TikToker by the name of @letsbemimi is opening up about a creepy nanny job she’s happy she didn’t get, because she’s convinced the mom of the family was possessed by a demonic entity.
An agency originally reached out to @letsbemimi about the family in need of a nanny, and they relayed to her that they thought she would be the perfect fit.
She asked for more information on the family, and the agency informed her that they can’t hold a nanny at all. The agency had already placed two nannies with them in two months, and neither nanny wanted to stay.
Wanting more details, @letsbemimi asked the agency why the nannies kept leaving and why they thought she would be equipped to deal with the problem family.
The agency said the position would pay $100,000, plus benefits, vacation, PTO, and a car to drive, so @letsbemimi was curious.
The agency went on to say that @letsbemimi excels at turning people’s words back on them without being offensive, so they thought she was highly qualified for the role.
The agency thought the mom was abrasive, and the problem was specific to her personality and the fact that a lot of nannies couldn’t deal with her.
“They’re saying it’s the mom. The mom has this eeriness about her that people just feel so uncomfortable, they don’t want to work there,” @letsbemimi explained in her video.
“I was like, ‘Ok, let’s just set up the call, because I don’t want to keep wasting time…and so we set up the Zoom, she (the mom) gets on the call, and as soon as we turn the camera on, my spirit was like, she’s hiding something, this isn’t the real her.”

“But she wasn’t doing [anything] abnormal. She looked regular. She looked like she was acting regular. But my spirit was just like, it’s something. It’s something there.”
She couldn’t place her finger on what was bothering her so much, so she dropped it. The mom liked her enough on the Zoom call that @letsbemimi agreed to go meet the family at their house.
When @letsbemimi arrived, the house looked flawless. The mom opened the door to greet her, and @letsbemimi was immediately hit with a heaviness in her chest.
She had difficulty breathing and excused herself to head off to the bathroom. Behind a closed door, @letsbemimi quickly called her husband to tell him she thought something demonic was attached to the mom.
Her husband insisted she should leave, but @letsbemimi had to stick around to see what was happening. They said a prayer together, and @letsbemimi walked back out of the bathroom to face the family.
She was working with the baby when something inside of @letsbemimi said she should say Jesus, which really confused her.
“As soon as I’m thinking that, the dog throws up something vicious, and I’m like, ‘Jesus Christ.’ The mom’s across the room…she looked over, she said, ‘What did you just say?'” @letsbemimi continued.
The mom admonished @letsbemimi for bringing religion into their home and for saying Jesus. The mom snapped that @letsbemimi didn’t know what they believed in, and then the dad came rushing over.
The dad demanded to know what was going on, so @letsbemimi filled him in, and he said his wife wasn’t big on religion. She reminded the dad that she had only made that remark because she was shocked the dog was vomiting; it had nothing to do with spreading her own beliefs around.
Before leaving, @letsbemimi pointed out to the dad that it was a big misunderstanding, and she packed up her things to get out of there.
“Whoever it was that she was pretending to be, that’s who she really was,” @letsbemimi added.
In the end, @letsbemimi didn’t get the job…not that she wanted it.
“I’m stuck on the $100K salary,” one person commented on @letsbemimi’s video.
“Red flag when a nanny is there less than 3 months,” someone else said.
“Now I’m not religious, but it’s a phrase commonly used when something crazy happens & to have that kind of visceral reaction is a straight up NOPE, no thanks,” a third person remarked.
