In the 1990s, TikToker Katt (@jadedkatt89) encountered a vampire with a veil over their house in Chicago. At the time, her mom went from door to door, selling cosmetic products.

One summer, she was with her mom when they stopped at one woman’s house. This woman was super nice and ordered every product her mom offered.

The women were in the kitchen, discussing the products, while Katt sat in the living room, trying to be a quiet, well-behaved kid. The house was huge, so she assumed they were rich.

Suddenly, the woman’s daughter appeared, and they started chatting. She confirmed that her family was super wealthy and that her dad was a doctor.

However, she wished she were the girl who lived across the street from her. The girl was very pretty and only came out of the house at certain times of the week, like Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Since Katt’s mom became friends with the rich woman, they were invited to their house for a barbecue one day. That day was a Thursday, and Katt saw the girl outside riding on her scooter. Katt wanted to play with her, but her friend told her that she couldn’t get too close.

When Katt walked up to the girl on her scooter, she squinted her eyes and looked Katt up and down. Katt’s whole body went hot, and she stopped in her tracks.

The girl asked Katt if she was good or bad, and Katt answered that she was a little bit of both. Apparently, that was the right answer because the girl started laughing and decided to play with her.

Katt’s friend tried to cross the street to join them, but she kept stopping at the curb. Katt tried to drag her across the street, but she couldn’t move.

The mysteriously pretty girl told Katt that her friend was a bad one, and she didn’t like the way her brain worked. When Katt asked what she meant, the girl said that her mom could explain it better.

So, she brought Katt to meet her mom. They walked down her side of the block and arrived at a gate surrounded by bushes. There was a symbol on the gate. It was a G with a sword straight through it and a half moon around it.

As she stood and looked at the gate, the girl told her that she would love it so much, she wouldn’t want to leave. Katt was uncomfortable.

She lied and said her mom was calling her, so she had to get back. The next thing she knew, her mom was actually calling for her.

The girl grabbed Katt’s wrist, not wanting to let her go. Suddenly, Katt’s mom appeared and spoke in a low voice. Katt didn’t recognize the language, and it scared her.

The girl’s face paled, and she instantly dropped Katt’s arm. Katt’s mom dragged her away and scolded her for wandering off with strangers.

She told Katt to remember the vampire stories she heard about in church. When she looked back at the girl’s house, she saw nothing but bushes. The house simply wasn’t there anymore.

“When the girl told me she liked me, and we were walking down the street to go meet her mama, I could actually see the top of a mansion over the bushes,” Katt said.

“Now you’re telling me, I’m standing across the street, and I can’t see a house. The gate that we got pushed away from is gone.”

They went back to the original lady’s house to finish the barbecue. And that’s the story of the time Katt encountered a vampire with a veil over their house.
