Ingredients:
-A loaf of sourdough bread
-16 ounces of Brie
TikTok; pictured above is Erica’s pull-apart sourdough bread bowl
-1/2 cup of cranberry sauce
-Dried cranberries
-4 tablespoons of melted butter
-3 tablespoons of brown sugar
-1/4 cup of chopped pecans
-Fresh chopped thyme
Directions:
First, take a loaf of sourdough bread and scoop out the inside. We know how tedious a task it is to bake homemade sourdough bread, so a store-bought loaf is more than acceptable. Second, cut off the rind of the Brie and smear the creamy cheese into the hole of the bread.
Next, spread half a cup of cranberry sauce on top, and sprinkle a handful of dried cranberries over it.
In a small bowl, combine two tablespoons of melted butter, some brown sugar, and chopped pecans.
Pour the mixture across the top of the bread bowl. Then, take a knife and cut small sections around the bread. Make sure not to cut all the way through. This is how you’ll create the pull-apart portion.
Lastly, take two more tablespoons of butter with fresh chopped thyme and drizzle it all over the bread bowl.
Bake it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes.
With its sweet and savory combination, this appetizer will win you major points with both guests and family members alike!
