Her Ex-Husband Made Inappropriate Comments About Her Being A Picky Eater In Front Of Their Bosses, So She Called Him Out For Being A Terrible Cook, And Now He’s Accusing Her Of Ruining His Career

This 30-year-old woman is a picky eater– a trend that goes all the way back to her childhood.
As a kid, it was impossible for her to eat a bunch of different foods. She was also eventually diagnosed with sensory issues related to eating– which fuels at least some of her pickiness.
But, as she got older, things did get better. She learned how to cook dishes that she both enjoyed and were nutritionally healthy.
“Mainly, I don’t like foods that are drenched in fat and feel heavy,” she said.
By the time she turned 20-years-old, she then landed a well-paying job. So, she opted to try out a ready-meal delivery service since she hated cooking and knew these meal options were still healthy.
After she turned 21, however, she wound up marrying a guy named Pete– who was 23 at the time. And apparently, Pete was always insistent on cooking and making her try new foods.
That’s why, even though she found the meal kits to be cheaper and easier time savers– which allowed her to put more effort into her career or hobbies– Pete was extremely against her ordering the ready meals.
Instead, he would always cook her meals that she wound up hating. Apparently, they always just tasted awful to her and would leave her with bad stomach pains afterward.
This trend continued in their marriage, too, and she claims her “pickiness” was what ultimately led to their divorce about three years later.

While she and Pete split up a long time ago, though, they were recently brought back together over dinner– which was an all-too-common issue for them.
More specifically, she and her boss recently attended a business dinner last week with an owner and assistant of another company they were partnering with.
And it just so happened that the assistant was her ex-husband, Pete.
“Which I was surprised to hear as he said he would never join the field I’m working in,” she noted.
Anyway, the group sat down for dinner, and right before the meal, her ex started making snarky remarks to both his boss and her own boss– talking about how she was a picky eater and claiming it caused their divorce.
Once the server actually came to take their orders, however, Pete was shocked when she ordered a couple of dishes that she previously would have found utterly disgusting. Plus, she even ate them all with no problems.
After that, her ex-husband reportedly started going “nuts” and began asking her a bunch of inappropriate questions. At one point, he was even nearly calling her names.
So, she was eventually sick of his antics and decided to stand up for herself. In fact, she pointed out how the reason she was so picky while married to Pete was that he was just a terrible cook. She also revealed how every meal he cooked would just make her sick.
“His boss laughed,” she revealed.
Then, everyone carried on with the dinner as usual.
But, the following day, she received an influx of angry text messages from her ex-husband. Apparently, Pete accused her of being a total jerk for calling out his food like that– because now, Pete’s boss declined an invitation to attend a work dinner Pete was hosting.
So, Pete claimed that her comments were negatively impacting his career. And now, she’s been left wondering whether being a picky eater and calling out her ex for being a terrible cook actually made her a jerk or not.
Do you think her “pickiness” was the only reason she and Pete’s marriage ended in divorce? Did Pete start it by making inappropriate comments about their past relationship in front of their bosses? Do you believe she had a right to stand up for herself? How would you have reacted if you had been in her shoes?
