After TikToker Traci Valentine (@raisingvalentines) lost her unborn son, Wellington, her little sister named her own son Wellington as a way to hurt her.

“If you want to believe that she did this out of the kindness of her heart, you go ahead and do that,” Traci said.

“But that is just simply not the case. She did not do that to honor my son at all. She did it because she wants to be the center of attention in every possible scenario. She has to make everything about her.”

Traci and her sister are nine years apart. There are a total of six siblings. Growing up, Traci and her sister were best friends, even throughout high school. They did everything together. When Traci moved out of the house at 18, her sister would often come and stay with her.

But then, her sister got into a toxic relationship with a guy. He hated Traci because she would always stand up for her sister every time she called her crying. Afterward, she would backtrack and blame Traci for any problems.

When Traci lost her son, it was her sister’s 18th birthday, and she was on a cruise with their parents. They didn’t really have phone service, but Traci reached out to her mom to inform her that she had miscarried.

Her sister accused her of ruining her entire birthday and that she had made it the worst day of her life. After that, she and her boyfriend would joke and laugh about how they couldn’t wait to have a son so they could name him Wellington.

When Traci’s sister got pregnant, she kept the baby’s name a secret the whole time. Traci would send her lists of names to help her choose one.

She broke the news by sending everyone a picture of wooden blocks spelling out the name Wellington. Traci cried and begged her sister not to do this.

At the time that her sister was in labor, Traci had another miscarriage. The baby didn’t make it, and she almost lost her life. Her sister blamed her for miscarrying on the day she gave birth.

“If you scroll through my comments and stuff, you’ll see her there under different accounts,” said Traci.

“And she commented earlier, and she was like, I’m Wellington’s mom; I want you to remember that.”

She went as far as sending Traci the official birth record and hospital paperwork to show that her decision was final. She even complained that Traci was ruining her postpartum and making a big deal over nothing.

She also kept saying insensitive things like, “My Wellington’s alive. Your Wellington’s dead.” In addition, she claimed that Traci’s baby wasn’t even a baby because he was never born.

Now, Traci is no contact with about 90% of her family. Still, her sister is blowing up her phone, and she is pregnant again. Traci can only assume that her sister will be using one of her daughters’ names for her new baby since she never told her sister about the names for her other losses.
